CFHILL is delighted to introduce Berlin-based artist Simone Haack (b. 1978, Germany) with her solo exhibition Les Fruits du mal. Moving between realism and the imagined, Haack creates a world where familiar forms become strange and the boundaries between bodies, objects and landscapes begin to dissolve. Through still lifes, portraits, landscapes and abstract paintings, she explores identity, desire and the psychological states beneath the visible. Drawing inspiration from dreams and the unexpected, her paintings invite us into a captivating world where beauty meets the uncanny, and reality gives way to imagination.⁠

entrance to Charlottenborg, overlooking Kongens Nytorv. This monumental bronze sculpture by Charlotte Gyllenhammar transforms the threshold of the fair into an encounter with one of Sweden’s most ⁠
distinctive sculptural voices.⁠
⁠
Rising two meters above the square, the seated child is at once familiar and strangely monumental. The recurring figure in Gyllenhammar’s work becomes here an arresting presence — quiet, vulnerable and ⁠
commanding. Through a subtle shift in scale and perspective, Sitting Giant invites us to reconsider ideas of power, identity and our own physical relationship to the work.⁠

Its placement in the heart of Copenhagen offers a rare opportunity to experience Gyllenhammar’s sculpture not only within the context of a fair, but as part of the architecture and public life of Copenhagen itself.⁠

At CHART, CFHILL presents a new body of work by acclaimed artist Meta Isæus-Berlin, extending her distinctive practice across painting and sculpture. Her new suite, Silence, continues her career-long exploration of the intimate and the uncanny through a series of portraits in which figures, clothing, light and surrounding details are brought into careful balance. Rather than relying on conventional likeness, Isæus-Berlin allows these elements to carry the emotional presence of the works, creating images that feel intimate, enigmatic and distinctly her own. Across the suite, painting and sculpture come together to demonstrate the artist’s mastery of both mediums, revealing her exceptional command of material, form and atmosphere.⁠
⁠
Over several decades, Isæus-Berlin has built a practice defined by intellectual depth and visual authority, mastering each medium with equal force. Isæus-Berlin began her career with large-scale installations that transformed exhibition spaces into psychologically charged environments. Educated at the Royal Institute of Art and Konstfack, she represented Sweden at the Venice Biennale in 1997 and the Istanbul Biennial. Her major retrospective at Liljevalchs in 2006 marked a turning point towards painting, while recent exhibitions include a solo presentation at Kulturhuset in Stockholm, where she took over the fifth floor with sculpture, painting and installation. Her work is held in prominent collections including Moderna Museet and Magasin III.⁠
