Some Sundays are better than others… 🏆

Absolutely delighted for the @lothiansgolfassociation winning the @wearescottishgolf Area Team Championships at the wonderful @largsgolfclub Golf Club today, overcoming a very strong @renfrewshiregolfunion team in the final.

Huge congratulations to all the players who represented the team this weekend (@anguscarrick @craigdavo0583 @georgiejackson_52 @kailaing7 @rossko11080 @marcreidx @jamie_duguid22), and to all the players that played their part in getting the team through the earlier rounds. A real squad effort from start to finish.

A special mention to captain Kenny Glen. A tremendous job and a huge amount of work behind the scenes to make days like today possible.

It was a pleasure to watch you play today, guys. Delighted for you. 👏🏆

Struggle to judge the wind on the course? ⛳️💨

Try this simple rule:

Into wind
Lose 1 yard per mph

Downwind
Gain 0.5 yards per mph

Crosswind
Aim 1 yard per mph into the wind

It’s a simple framework that makes club selection and starting lines much easier.

I’ve put together a Wind Adjustment Guide + Cheat Sheet to help you apply it on the course.

Great day at @archerfieldlinks for @lothiansgolfassociation Boys 2026/27 first session.

A chance to get to know the boys, establish their goals and baseline key skills across putting, short game and long game.

Great to have @chrissimpson14 looking at speed, power and physical movement, alongside @zanderculverwell working with the boys across the skills stations and out on the course for our Tour Scramble.

A really positive starting point as we build towards a fun, purposeful winter of development.

Better fit. Better setup. Better stroke. ⛳️

A simple putter change helped @kailaing7 improve his @scienceandmotionsports PuttLab performance score from 72.5% to 79.5%: a 7% improvement.

More importantly, the right putter encouraged better posture, alignment and a more repeatable stroke.

Sometimes better technique starts with better equipment.

Want a more reliable putting stroke? Start with your setup. ⛳️

Just look at @alfie._pugh ‘s progress.

By standing taller, setting the shoulders back, and positioning the hands slightly higher, he creates more space for a stable stroke.

The takeaway: Improve your posture, improve your stroke, and give yourself a better chance to hole more putts.
