Truly an honor to have a pair of your boots on a bride! Especially when her very fun to work with sisters got them as a surprise for her. Kelsey is apparently an all-the-things kind of girl - so butterfiles and bleeding heart flowers, a laser etched pegasus, stars and interchangeable colors for the tassels strands - oh and a high heel. Don’t do too many of those. by @chasecustomboots

Thank you @yellowstoneartmuseum for successfully auctioning off a night in Livingston that included a fitting for a pair of my boots (as well as dinner @eat.campione and a night @historicmurrayhotel)
AND for a fun opening on a very snowy night

Chase (no relation) DeForest studied at RISDE and learned leathercraft as a boot maker. In addition to custom cowboy boots, the DC and Montana resident has in recent years been making stitched leather panels as art pieces. Her ‘Adrift’ exhibit at the @thesuperfair in San Francisco this weekend seemed especially apropos, both to the time and the bayside setting.

‘Woodland High’
Delighted to have clients that go for it and ‘birdy’ certainly did with these 7 psychoactive botanicals on his urban boots.

From familiar Mary Jane to ayahuasca, peyote, opium, a bufo toad, coca, a banisteriopsis vine cross section and a viridis shrub….complete w the phases of the moon around the collar and alligator vamps
