I absolutely love anything chocolate, so I needed to find an easy snack I could enjoy while in a calorie deficit.

I’ve seen so many Snickers- and Ferrero Rocher-inspired recipes, so I finally tweaked a few ideas and created my own version!

These are only 85 calories per piece, which isn’t bad at all. And they’re gluten and lactose free (just swap out the chocolate with a lactose free option)

Ingredients:

• 15–20g roasted chickpeas
• 30g vanilla protein powder
• 3 rice cakes
• 6 squares of 70% dark chocolate (you can definitely use less if you want to lower the calories even more)
• 4–5 dates
• About 30g PB2

(The ingredients can easily be adjusted to your liking—this is just the combination I personally prefer.)

Mix everything except the chocolate in a bowl until well combined, then press the mixture into your preferred container or mold.

Melt the chocolate with a little cocoa butter and pour it over the top. Place it in the freezer or refrigerator until the chocolate has hardened and the filling has firmed up. Enjoy! 🍫

For all my calorie-deficit snack addicts who are always on the go🏃🏽‍♀️‍➡️🇳🇴

There are so many «healthier» snack alternatives online that are still pretty high in calories, or require you to make them yourself.
So here are some easy affordable swaps you can actually grab at almost grocery store. No cooking, no prep, just easy snacks with fewer calories🤍

Save this for your next grocery trip 🫸🏼🫷🏼

#fyp #caloriedeficit #norway #snackswap

These cheese doodles swaps are amazing. I prefer the one from Pandy, but the other one is also delicious!

Where I got them:
Pandy: MENY
Protein kaker: REMA1000

Now I know some of you (like me) will be like «it doesn’t taste the same at all».. well, no but this will satisfy your craving, AND if you add sugar free chocolate sauce, it will taste even more like the other one☝🏼 (and don’t forget you can devour the whole thing)

Stores:
REMA1000, Coop, Oda, some MENY’s

This one is actually sooo good! I’m super picky with ice cream but this is my favorite substitute so far 🍦🍨

Stores:
REMA1000, Coop, Oda, some MENY’s

This is a must for dessert!
The protein pudding is yummy by itself, but add some sugar-free vanilla curd/sauce to it and it’s just like the dessert you’re used to 🙂‍↕️

Stores:
Almost any store in Oslo

If you’re craving something sweet, and fruit just won’t do it right now, these substitutes from Pandy are a life saver! They taste exactly like the original candies but but way less calories. (Be careful if you’re sensitive to artificial sweeteners)

Stores:
Kiwi, Normal, MENY

Love chips but want a lighter option? Try these! The calorie difference here is only 35kcal for the same amount. But the difference is 1. You get more chips for less calories. 2. When you buy the bag on the left, and actually finish the whole bag without restricting yourself 🤷🏼‍♀️

Store: Normal

<< Same goes for these
Store: REMA1000

There’s a lot of different «healthier» Snickers options out there, but usually they’re still pretty high in calories. But this substitute from REMA1000 you can eat without the extra calories! (And yes it’s actually good!)🍫🥜

🥕🍰CARROT CAKE ENERGY BALLS🍰🥕
114 kcal / 4,5g protein per ball

Perfect as snacks on busy days when you don’t have time to pack or sit down for a proper meal and just need some fuel, especially at work! Easy to prep, easy to bring with you, and a much better option than ending up grabbing something random when you get hungry. 🤍

Ingredients – 12 balls

• 60 g grated carrots
• 80 g gluten-free oats
• 106 g soaked & pitted dates
• 40 g shredded coconut
• 50 g PB2
• 10 g honey
• A splash of vanilla drops or Zero Cheesecake Drops
• ½ tsp ginger
• ½ tsp cinnamon
• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
• White chocolate + a little coconut oil for topping

Method:
Add everything except the white chocolate and coconut oil to a food processor/blender and blend until you have a sticky dough. Roll into 12 balls and place in the freezer/fridge.

Melt the white chocolate with a little coconut oil and drizzle over the balls. Place them back in the freezer until the chocolate has set. 🤍 You can keep this in the freezer to have them last longer 🥰

A little 7 AM morning before gym & work 🤍

Prepping breakfast & lunch for the day, getting in a little study time, and making sure I have everything ready before heading out.

Keeping my lunch in a cooler bag while I’m at the gym has honestly been such a life hack 🥗🧊

Little things that make busy days a little easier ✨

⚠️Disclaimer: 1,400 calories a day is not something I’d recommend or consider sustainable long-term.

Today was just a lazy work day with a rest day from the gym, so my activity level was low and I simply didn’t feel the need to eat more. Some days you’ll naturally be hungrier than others, and that’s completely okay.

The most important thing is to listen to your body—not mine, not someone else’s on social media. Your calorie needs will vary depending on your activity level, goals, and what your body is telling you.

This is simply what I ate today, not what I eat every day. 🤍 taken in Oslo, Norway by @cheatcodeeats

Another week another obsession! 🍌🍫
You all gotta try this super easy 4 ingredient snack!

You’ll need;
1 banana
2 ricepapers
1 egg
Some chocolate

Directions:
Whisk the egg on a plate. Soak the rice paper in the egg on both sides. Cut the banana in half, place one half in the middle of the rice paper, add a few pieces of chocolate, and roll it up tightly. Repeat with the other half of the banana. Air fry until golden brown and crispy. (About 5-10 minutes) Enjoy! ✨

It’s gluten-free, gut friendly and you can make it lactose-free by swapping regular chocolate with a lactose free option ✨

Finally! The 4-minute chocolate cake with vanilla & pistachio protein spread! 💚

317 kcal / 21 g protein per serving

I usually make this in either two or four servings.

For 2 servings, you’ll need:

1 egg
1 banana
1 tbsp cocoa powder
½ tsp baking powder
20 g vanilla protein powder
200 g vanilla Greek yogurt (lactose free)
15 g pistachio spread (I use the one from Rema1000)

Instructions:
Mash the banana and mix it with the egg, cocoa powder, and baking powder until smooth.
Divide the batter between two microwave-safe containers and microwave for 1–3 minutes, depending on the size and shape of your containers. Cooking time may vary, so keep an eye on them and adjust as needed.

Let the cakes cool completely. For faster cooling, place them on a wire rack or elevate them slightly so air can circulate underneath.

In a bowl, mix the vanilla Greek yogurt with the vanilla protein powder until smooth.
Spoon the protein yogurt over the cooled cakes and finish by drizzling the pistachio spread on top.

❕Meal prep tip: Make the cake bases ahead of time, and the topping takes just 1 minute to mix together before work or school in the morning! taken in Oslo, Norway by @cheatcodeeats

Coconut protein overnight oats🥥

This is definitely another favorite mealprep option of mine! BUT it’s super sweet because of the protein powder, so you can skip this step if you want a less sweet and fresher taste✨
Ca. 360kcal / 26g protein

Ingredients:

• 30 g gluten-free quick oats
• 10 g chia seeds
• 60 g vanilla Greek yogurt
• 30 g light coconut milk
• 20 g piña colada protein powder (optional)
• 0.3 tbsp honey
• 40 g peach
• Sprinkle a little shredded coconut on top

Directions:

Just mix chia, oats, yoghurt, coconut milk and protein powder together (if you’re skipping the protein powder you can add some sweetener of choice to make it a bit sweeter).

Caramelize the peaches (or any fruit of choice) in the honey until just before they get mushy🍑
Layer it on top of the chia/oat mix and sprinkle some shredded coconut on top AND ENJOY💕 taken in Oslo, Norway by @cheatcodeeats

So @getfit.no was celebrating their anniversary yesterday with some discounts, so obviously I had to stop by and grab some of my essentials and some new protein powders to try out!✨

Tip for those of you who’s like me and struggle with the taste of protein: the cinnamon bun protein bar literally taste like If cinnamon bun and gingerbread dough had a baby. It’s SO good, I could eat 6 a day I’f I didn’t have self control 🤪

I’ve been making this lasagna for almost a year now and I’m 👏🏼obsessed👏🏼.

It’s packed with proteins and takes only about 15-20 minutes to make!
1 serving: 321kcal / 44g protein

Ingredients:

• 1 can chopped tomatoes (or chop fresh tomatoes yourself)
• ½ yellow bell pepper
• ½ green bell pepper
• 1 container low-fat or lactose-free cottage cheese
• 10–15 g nutritional yeast (or Parmesan – it’s mainly for flavor. I use nutritional yeast for fewer calories and extra nutrients.)
• Oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
• 1 zucchini
• 400 g lean ground beef (5% fat)
• About 100 g reduced-fat cheese (optional)

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
2. Cook the ground beef in a pan. Add the bell peppers and chopped tomatoes, then season with oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
3. Slice the zucchini into thin strips using a vegetable peeler or cheese slicer. Set aside enough strips to make a layer in your baking dish. Dice the remaining zucchini and add it to the meat mixture. Continue cooking until most of the liquid has evaporated.
4. Blend the cottage cheese, nutritional yeast (or Parmesan), the seasonings, and a little water until you get a somewhat smooth, pourable consistency.
5. Transfer the meat mixture to an oven-safe baking dish. Add a layer of zucchini strips on top, pour over the cottage cheese mixture, and finish with the shredded cheese.
6. Bake until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.

Serve with a side salad of your choice to add some freshness. You can also enjoy it with wholegrain garlic bread on the side, though keep in mind that this will add extra calories.

Enjoy! Lmk in the comments if you try it and what you think!💕
