We made it! 🎉

Excited to announce that I am officially a Cohort 9 graduate of the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women: Black in Business program!

This is a program I’ve had my eye on for a few years now, and I dreamed of the opportunity to be guided and supported through it. So to be chosen for this opportunity was not a light thing.

Going through the program, I went through so many changes and transitions, and in the moment it wasn’t the easiest. But one thing I knew was the importance of sticking it through. I had an amazing business advisor, Anita Pierce, who made sure I did not quit on myself, and an amazing cohort where we were able to share vulnerabilities, successes, and achievements throughout the program. What I learned were truly invaluable areas of business that you can’t easily get self-taught it was just an amazing experience.

To walk across that stage and make it to this point really reminded me of the tenacity God has equipped me with, most importantly. I’m so excited to take what I learned from this program and apply it to so many areas of my business.

Introducing the Community Photography Project, an opening reception and exhibition created in partnership with The Guild Sanctuary in Dorchester.

This one is personal. I photographed 40+ community residents from Boston and beyond everyday people, beautiful stories, all in one room together.

Oh, this one is a special one!

I’m so honored to have witnessed a glimpse of these two beautiful people’s love story and to see how it has all unfolded. It has truly been a blessing. From the prayers and conversations leading up to their engagement, to now watching them prepare for marriage, seeing their relationship flourish has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

@anid__b and @jponlyjp , thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. You are not only friends, but family, and I am so excited for all that is ahead as you embark on this beautiful covenant of marriage.

💐🌸🌻🎂🎉

This birthday feels especially meaningful to me. After a year of growth, change, and being tested, I’m reminded that it’s still my time to bloom. It’s still my time to show up. There’s still so much time to pour into community, to love on others, and to love on myself.

I’m proud of how I’m choosing me more and more and how that choice is allowing me to see things come into fruition that I’ve never seen before. I thank God for the reminder that when I trust Him, He will handle the rest. by @chellydee_

Still becoming, still a masterpiece.

I’m stepping into a space where I’m unapologetically leaning into what feels right for me. And I’m choosing to celebrate that by waking up each day and taking the next step, by being more audacious, by loving others more intentionally and differently, and by loving myself with fullness and grace.

Loving myself the way God has called me to love. This endless journey to truth.
