It’s a new month and we have some new people here so I figured I’ll come on here and reintroduce myself!

My name is Rachelle, the founder of Chellypic Photography and I have the pleasure of serving the Greater Boston area and beyond for the past 5+ years with portrait and event photography services.

This is a journey that is a bit unexpected but truly falls into place. Every season before was building me for this moment where I am leading as a creative and self-built entrepreneur and loving the journey I am on.

I am a believer in Jesus Christ who gives me the true strength to carry out what he has gifted me to do! God is my CEO our meetings, exchanges, can’t do it without him!

I am newly married to my favorite Igbo man! This year brought so many surprises and continues to do so! I am a recent graduate of the Goldman Sachs Program, a program I had my eye on and then took me through the fire and being on the other side, I am ready to apply and grow from the feedback!

I love to be in nature and getting reconnected with my love for trail walks and being in community.

Community is truly everything to me! It’s some of my earliest memories and makes me feel at home! I have such amazing family, friends and community that not only support my creative journey but clap along the way and I honor you all!

As we enter this last half of the year I want to thank all the amazing people who I have been able to work with this year and previous years! This is only the beginning of creativity and impact!

Today is also the one year anniversary of 6 journalist murdered by I*****. The duality that I feel of joy and profound sadness I know it’s something I do not experience alone. I vow to continue to fight for liberation and seek these pockets of joy as fuel to achieve a better world.

Stepping into the fullness of calling myself a photographer has truly been a journey. I used to run from the title, but now I’m embracing it with gratitude. Creating feels different these days more intentional, more aligned, and more rooted in what God has placed in me.

We are all creative in our own ways, and we all have something to give back to the world. I hope this encourages someone to let go, lean in, and trust God to do the rest. ✨📸

This year has really pushed me out of my comfort zone. I got the chance to work with an amazing photographer this fall shoutouts to @lumiere.by.aney , and I’m in awe of the doors God keeps opening. It’s a reminder that I need to step in front of the camera just as much as everyone else. ✨
