As I seem to running on astronomical timings. This year has been a heavy one 💔 but the last 5 weeks in Cornwall are healing us all - from our beautiful friends and family that have visited (or are booked to come!) to this glorious weather and daily sea dips - and of course our twinnies who never fail to bring joy - love seeing them out of the city and in such beauty - smiles are flowing once again Xxx by @chenbuxton

Yes ANOTHER carousel post to say thanks after The Other Art Fair - but I have a lot of love to give and I want to include my OG rock - my handsome man who also likes to demonstrate how I should pose infront of my work 😆🤣 no art could have been made without his support and doing a much larger share of twin duty these past months whilst I juggled photography clients & painting. Thank you my @benbux 🥲🥲 and thank you for an amazing weekend my beautiful friends that came and brought ALL the fun - SOOO much laughing and hugging and it still wasn’t enough xxxx oh and a pic of myself to end the carousel - because I’m SUPER proud of myself too 🥲🥰 by @chenbuxton

And look how far you’ve come my darlings 🥹 1 year on 🩷🩷 Can’t thank the NICU staff enough for the work they do. My first cuddle with Bodi wasn’t until he was two days old - I was too scared to hold him with all the tubes and wires - it was 2am when I built up the courage - so thankful to the nurses who helped me that night 🥲 taken in Cornwall, UK by @chenbuxton

Summer; well you were wonderful - constant bags under my eyes but ah well (will be sad when I can’t wear OTT sunnies to feel glam 😝) - many selfies, everyday family fun, working away from babes for the first time, gorgeous family and friends visiting Uk and cornwall 🥹🫶🏼, finishing my largest piece to date, moved into a new studio space, our little village feeling like we’ve gone abroad - twin life is hard especially now I’m starting work again but MY HEART IS SO FULL

WE MADE IT. Well that wasn’t stressful at all - holiday abroad with twins is fiiinnnneee - we just needed 3 extra people to help us 🤪🫠 But worth it for First taste of snow for the babes! Some snow fun highlights so far. Thank you @csmyths @nikkicsmyth this ski holiday would not have happened without you - we’d still be walking through the airport dragging our bags 🤣🥲🙏🏼 by @chenbuxton

Ok so if you told me this time last year that 8:30am on a Sunday would seem « not so early » I would have laughed but twin mama life has its perks because being up well in time to join #HarbourHouseFlushing swim club was WONDERFUL. and it fits right during the babes nap time 😜 #lovecornwall #kilnsauna by @chenbuxton

Getting super personal again on social media but wanted to share hopeful, happy vibes for #WorldCancerDay (albeit a day late!) and give hope to those who may be on a similar journey. These photos were taken on a whim in July after I had finished my own client photoshoot in London. After work, I met my dear and talented photographer friend Ella for a coffee and catchup and asked her to take some shots just to document the bump - we were looking for a nice background near the cafe and realised we were on Harley street where I’d had all my chemo in 2019. « Not sure if I want photos here , such a mix of memories » I’d said at the time - but when I got home I realised how full circle it was to have photos of me pregnant on the street where I was told that i should get IVF before chemo started. We did manage to squeeze one round of IVF in and 5yrs later I was being told by both French and British doctors that chances of natural conception was extremely low and to use the embryos asap. Well my body had other plans! Ben decided to take an extended break between jobs to pursue his ski instructor dreams in France for 6 weeks and I was happy to wait until we were back…. Well something was in that alpine air - getting pregnant naturally was not on the agenda and TWINS?! But it happened. Neither of us have twins in the family either - it’s cheesey to say but it truly has been a double blessing- unexpected, unplanned , totally awesome in the truest sense of the word. 🥲 every cancer journey is different I know - you never know what life will throw at you - there is the bad but always stay hopeful that the good will come too. I hoped but could never imagine that this happiness was in store. Sending out love and hope to others who might be told the same as me ❤️
