The soul after recently departing the confines of the body finds itself in a limbo where space and time no longer exist. Approached by a formless creature with rotating pentagonal form. Black snakes are holding together clutches of blue crystals on a foundation of clouds. Protecting perceived value of our cherished memories. The god like creature stands before an infinite number of orange corridors. They provide us choice without fear of where we want to go next. Choose the portal with the gravitational pull that excites you the most. Follow that intuition. Enter the portal. And enjoy the ride. by @chrisjaydavis

“Yellow Tidal Portal to the Moon,”
24” x 24”. Acrylic on canvas.

If you are not going away for Labor Day weekend, I’ve got something for you! I’ll be at SOWA this Friday for my First Fridays debut! @tagtheartgallery @newenglandartcenter Starting at 6pm. This is a group show called Weaving Connections.

The fifth painting from my ‘Afterlife’ series will be on display.

This series of paintings speaks to transition. The moment when something passes from a structured world we understand into one we can’t fully explain. taken in New England Art Center by @chrisjaydavis

A photo I will never forget the meaning of. A photo so simple it contains my boundless excitement about the first gallery I’ve joined. A photo so simple it documents my first group show. A photo so simple showing that everything comes together when time and space allows. A photo so simple that proves it’s never too late. Overflowing with gratitude.

Special thanks to @edwardrochaart for introducing me to @fiksclaudia & @tagtheartgallery

There are no good decisions or bad decisions - but choice. Adventure. The soul must choose.

Where does the soul go after its journey with the body ends? How do the living process their grief?
