Extract from live with @mihai_traista at THRICE WOVEN gig series for @mirr_ortv at @paperdressvintage

Our next one is 5th NOVEMBER at @theoldchurchn16

It’s a true blessing to play with sonic/ cosmic genius @mihai_traista ! I’m deeply grateful for his expansive universe of sound architecture,

The line up consisted of two Greek women whose voices and sonic emanations I revere:

@blackarrowsmusic & @dunja_botic

Deeply grateful for @rsolgtp ‘s wizardry behind the lens and through windows of the soul 🎥

Big love to @mirr_ortv 🖤🤍

Another extract from our performance with @garwynlinnell at @theotherslondon supporting @perkeltmusic

This song is called Yinome Yi (Γίνομαι Γη) , I BECOME EARTH, and is split into two parts,

“ I become Earth, I become darkness, to see your light, my God, I hurt, and I feel, I hurt, and I feel, I become Earth, I become darkness, to see your light, my God”

My tear drips love,
My soul laughter,
My bleeding eyes,
Eternal rivers,
And with withered wings,
My soul flies,

Rough translation from Greek to English of pt1 & 2s.

This song is an expression of constellations of feelings arising from the full cycle of the transmutational journey of soul.

I have deep gratitude for dear friend @garwynlinnell whose musical expression is a portal to the heart where the gates of the soul themselves reside, who could join me and fuse his universe with mine to expand the transmission of this journey.

Garwyn also beautifully mixed these live transmission tracks and fx that held and strengthened this invocation,

Big thanks to @jameswlde for the wonderful capture of this performance through his film and editing

Emotions are oceans and love is the anchor, love is the pinhole through which the water, centrifugal, in process of purification, flows through. Tears clear the heart, voicing our heart circulates our airs and waters around the temple of our body. As we emit song, we open the portal to voice, offer our heart to life, our temple clears and renews, open to receive again.

The dance of love with life ♾️8♾️

A gathering of ancient sounds, ancestral traditions and voices seeking transcendence.

Tirikantam brings together three musicians whose practices move across cultures, histories and musical traditions, creating an immersive journey through sound, drone, chant and melody.

Formed by three friends who met in London, the project brings together Christina Deva’s layered vocals and esoteric drone folk, Rocha of Cynthia’s explorations of ancient Celtic, Iberian, Armenian and Persian traditions through the Portuguese guitar and kamancheh, and Lauren Laroth’s chants, emotional melodies and connection to the forgotten voices of ancient mysticism.

Rooted in folk and ceremonial music, Tirikantam invites us into a shared sonic experience where music becomes a space for emotional release, connection and collective presence.

A journey through sound, where ancient traditions meet in the present.
