Some captures from my opening set for the album launch of @lunardeceptionmusic at @hootanannybrixton on the 23rd of September.

What a whirlwind the last few months have been! Many blessings & challenges but creative inspiration has been consistent throughout!

I opened the set with “Κεραυνός ⚡️ “ = Lightning in Greek

Something newly channelled and created so effortlessly on-the-go, that it seemed poised to erupt despite me.

Lightning as a single point of ecstasy, hierophany and cataclysmic transformation has been very present throughout my life, particularly since this summer Solstice.

During this autumn Equinox, being called to perform at the Bacchanal event of @foxbadge, an invocation and ode to the Lightning-born god (Dionysus / Bacchus) bubbled up, in my native tongue (greek).

Next upcoming gig is on the 5th of November - the second edition of THRICE WOVEN, collaborative gig series with fellow greek witches @dunja_botic and @christina_deva !
Brought to you with the help of @mirr_ortv, to be held at @theoldchurchn16

Hope to see you there 💫 ✨

LIVE ON STAGE - 8:30 PM
Orryelle & Christina Deva

. . .

Wyrd live music from sonic sorceress Christina Deva (voice, bouzouki, lyre) and Orryelle (violin, voice) creates an ambient dronescape for the unfolding of our Samhain ritual. We honour Hekate and Arachne-Moerae. Communing with the restless dead and Underworld shades, Orryelle allows them to express themselves through his face with self-sculpting (clay, bones, horns) and movement.

. . .

Orryelle Defenestrate is an esoteric artist in many media forms, including painting, writing, sculpture, sound (voice, violin), film and performance art. Writer-director of the Metamorphic Ritual Theatre Company presenting original productions based in (and sometimes updating/mutating) various ancient mythos; and author-artist of the Tela Quadrivium book-web (Fulgur Press) 'Esezezus' (Grayle Press) and the Book of Kaos Tarot (iNSPiRAlink.). He is currently growing an esoteric sculpture garden in the Ardennes forest, Belgium.

Christina Deva is a Greek vocalist & musician executing esoteric drone folk and immersive sound rituals. Through a practice of surrendering the body as vessel for the soul's direct expression, she builds immersive soundscapes of layered voice, drone and minimal world instrumentation, with intentions to unleash raw unfiltered emotion, curved through symbolic mythopoeia and animistic realms.

A gathering of ancient sounds, ancestral traditions and voices seeking transcendence.

Tirikantam brings together three musicians whose practices move across cultures, histories and musical traditions, creating an immersive journey through sound, drone, chant and melody.

Formed by three friends who met in London, the project brings together Christina Deva’s layered vocals and esoteric drone folk, Rocha of Cynthia’s explorations of ancient Celtic, Iberian, Armenian and Persian traditions through the Portuguese guitar and kamancheh, and Lauren Laroth’s chants, emotional melodies and connection to the forgotten voices of ancient mysticism.

Rooted in folk and ceremonial music, Tirikantam invites us into a shared sonic experience where music becomes a space for emotional release, connection and collective presence.

A journey through sound, where ancient traditions meet in the present.
