The “chaos garden” is giving me a lot of joy lately. I love discovering what has grown. I had a lot of mostly flower seeds that were past their prime and after I harvested the potatoes from this bed, I planted / threw them in here willy nilly 🧡🩷💚 by @christinavjensen

Decided to make rose water today since I have a lot of end of season roses, and it’s too rainy to do what I planned to in the garden - first time trying this! The jars hold the water the petals were steeped in and will be used first for cooking (short shelf life) and the blue bottles hold the collected condensation or rose hydrosol for skincare which lasts around six months 🥀 by @christinavjensen

My green bean tower is pretty tall this year! It collapsed a few weeks ago because I used some old bamboo stakes that cracked under the weight. Fortunately Matt was able to right it and reinforce it - I cut out the damaged parts, and it was fine! The tomatoes are still going like crazy, although there has definitely been a change in the air from summer’s peak. 🌞 by @christinavjensen

This year’s winner for biggest tomato is in, a Virginia Sweet weighing in at 1.84 pounds 🏆 🍅 ! Looking forward to eating this one soon 😋 Also pictured, a tomato hornworm I moved off the tomatillos. I know they are destructive but I think they are so cute 🐛 by @christinavjensen

Back at it! My friend is coming over to pick up some veggies so I set them out like a CSA so selections can be made 😂 We have a contender (though I don’t think this is the winner) for biggest tomato, at 1.81 pounds 🍅🥈 by @christinavjensen
