Looking forward to this weekend with the @harrisburgsymphony Orchestra!

I’ll be joining the orchestra as soloist on bandoneon for Astor Piazzolla’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, with @stuartmalina conducting.

Piazzolla’s music always feels particularly alive in an orchestral setting, and I’m excited to bring these four seasons of Buenos Aires to Harrisburg. 🇦🇷

Congratulations @colbertlateshow on your @televisionacad Emmy win for Oustanding Variety Series! We’ve been reminiscing about our appearance on your show back in 2024, when we brought “AN EVENING of BACH & POETRY” with poet @amandascgorman and cellist @janvoglercello to @carnegiehall.

The entire experience will stay with all of us as an absolute honor and career highlight. Your team was wonderful to work with, and we were so proud to help share this moving, important performance with the world.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Chamber Music America conference in Chicago! Congratulations to the Telegraph Quartet on receiving the CMA Album of the Year Award for their record Edge of the Storm, and to both the Telegraph and Jupiter Quartet on gorgeous performances during the conference. We capped things off with a Jensen Artists Chicago deep dish pizza party! So honored to represent these incredible artists. ❤️

Dear friends in NYC,

Please mark your calendars for the album release concert of PERSEVERANTIA at the wonderful Roulette Theater on Thursday, March 5 at 8 pm.
PERSEVERANTIA started as an emotional diary, a way to process everything we have experienced since the beginning of the Russian invasion of my homeland, Ukraine. This music reflects much of what I have felt and experienced over the last four years. There is so much sorrow, anger, and sadness, but also so much empathy and hope. After four years of work, I’m finally releasing this album into the world. My long-time mentor, friend, and collaborator, John Zorn, has been a strong supporter of PERSEVERANTIA, and I am honored to release this album on his label, Tzadik. For the NYC album release concert, I’m honored to be joined by brilliant musicians from the New York contemporary music scene: Pauline Kim Harris (violin), Celia Hatton (viola), and Andrew Janss (cello). PERSEVERANTIA почалася як емоційний щоденник, спосіб опрацювати все, що ми пережили з початку російського вторгнення в Україну. Ця музика відображає багато з того, що ми відчували за останні чотири роки. У ній так багато болю, гніву і смутку, але також і співчуття та надії. Після чотирьох років роботи я нарешті випускаю цей альбом у світ. Мій давній наставник, друг і колега Джон Зорн був великим прихильником PERSEVERANTIA, і для мене велика честь випустити цей альбом на його лейблі Tzadik. What a night!!! Lisa Bielawa’s new violin concerto PULSE for Tessa Lark performed by co-commissioner the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra led by Cristian Măcelaru - a journey through American musics from shape note singing to Tin Pan Alley to Old-time fiddling, all heard through Lisa’s incomparable, authentic and deeply felt musical lens. The performance was absolutely 🔥 and it’s been wonderful to witness these musicians’ welcoming and joyful energy. Big thanks to the entire CSO team for their dedication, working together toward this commission for the last few years 🙏
