@crying2leya's first show since the pandemic was unlike any other ambient/noise show I've seen. The crowd was boisterous, the DJ sets bumpin. Unhinged, I dare say, not unlike Russell Crowe's latest film.

Ambient is the new grindcore 🙏

Spring scenes from Jeju, Korea's largest island formed by volcanoes and covered in tangerines and horses and matcha fields and black pigs. Do not look up the history of the Jeju black pigs. You've been warned

Vliet Pilsner, shot for @threesbrewing 🌊

Was an honor to photograph the iconic Vliet! Threes has been making some of the honest-to-god best lagers around for years. So cool to watch them grow and spot this legendary brooklyn beer everywhere from restaurants and music venues to sporting events now. by @christopherswane

these scenes from inside Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul may look idyllic & tranquil...now imagine a horde of protesters and counter-protesters just outside the palace walls, chanting both for and against the reinstatement of South Korea's disgraced former president 🆒️

^that was the soundtrack to our visit in April 👌 At least the photos came out nice by @christopherswane

My second go-round in Seoul, I thought I might crack the code. Alas I am more perplexed than ever by this sprawling city with its myriad neighborhoods and vibes. They do have great London-style bagels tho 🥯

Spent an afternoon at the newly opened @johnnysbk a few months back, shooting their vibrant Peruvian-Chinese dishes and chifa-inspired cocktails. The Pollo a la brasa rotisserie chicken is the star, but those spare ribs…maybe the best in the city rn. And don’t skip the cocktails, with some killer recipes coming from the @mr.melobar crew across the street 🐔 by @christopherswane

i brought two cameras to france. one digital, and one film: an old Olympus SP35. when i reached the end of the first roll on the olympus, i tried to rewind it, but it seemed to be stuck 😫 i took it to a camera shop in aix-en-provence, where the clerk disappeared to the back. a few minutes later, he came back out:
“voilà le problème.”
“there is no film in this camera”
