Celebrate the festive season with a special Christmas edition of our Ikebana Studio.

For this once-a-year workshop, we’ll work with our favourite Hakusan Leaves plate set and seasonal flowers to create a centrepiece for your Christmas table.

Larger in scale and more formal in composition than our usual Ikebana Studio, this special edition brings together flowers, thoughtful design and the pleasure of preparing your home for the festive season.

The four Leaves plates can come together as one generous centrepiece or be arranged individually throughout your home — beautiful pieces to use and enjoy long after Christmas.

Your workshop includes:

• A blue Hakusan Leaves plate set — four plates to take home
• Four kenzan flower holders (S, M, L and XXL)
• Seasonal flowers for your arrangement
• Step-by-step guidance from our ikebana expert
• Welcome tea
• A bowl of matcha with CIBI sweets to finish the afternoon together

Take home your completed arrangement, plates and kenzan, with inspiration to create again as the seasons change.

CIBI Okayama Store opened today😭🙌🏻🥳😆💙
A project we have been nurturing for many years.

For the past few years, we’ve been sharing this journey with our Melbourne community, and many of you have been watching it take shape from afar.

Today, it finally begins✨

Looking back, I think Zenta had been imagining this place long before any of us could see it.

A vision that has grown and taken shape over many years.

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter😌

We hope CIBI Okayama Store becomes a place where people gather from near and far — a place for connection, conversation, discovery and everyday happiness.

On your next visit to Japan, we hope you’ll find time to visit both CIBI Okayama and our Tokyo stores @cibi_tokyo

A lifestyle hub rooted in community, food, design and culture.

We look forward to seeing what unfolds here from today onwards.

Congratulations, Team CIBI Okayama @cibi_okayama ✨ by @cibi_minanoie

Our last day at YA O YA @yaoya_guethary in Guéthary — come and see us before 7pm!

We’re sharing tastings from OSOZAI, made with seasonal Basque produce from the Saint-Jean-de-Luz market. Pick up a copy and try the recipes at home, too!

Discover our Japanese kitchen tools exhibition and explore YA O YA’s wonderful selection, from curated Japanese ingredients to cheese, freshly baked bread and seasonal local produce.

Today is Meg & Zenta’s last day here, but the CIBI pop-up and exhibition continue until Sunday 25 October.

What an amazing stay in Basque Country — lovely people, great energy, beautiful food and produce, and wonderful friends. Thank you, YA O YA, for hosting our pop-up and introducing us to your favourite local places. A lovely way to finish our European book tour!

New arrivals from Okayama, Japan!

Beautiful Bizen ware by our CIBI friend, ceramic artist Isezaki Shu, is back in store.

Made with local clay and fired without glaze, each piece carries its own colours and textures, shaped by ash and flame. With care and everyday use, it develops its own character.

A thoughtful gift for the festive season, or a beautiful addition to a table shared with family and friends.

A longtime CIBI favourite — the Hakusan butter case.

Designed by Masahiro Mori, in blue, yellow and white. A simple, stackable design with so many possibilities.

From butter in the kitchen to little treats on the dining table, jewellery in the bedroom or small essentials on your workbench — a beautiful piece to enjoy throughout your home.

Choose your favourite colour, or mix and stack two or three. There’s always another use to discover.

Through CIBI’s longstanding relationship with Hakusan Porcelain, we’re pleased to share more of these thoughtful designs in our exhibition, now open at CIBI Melbourne.

Welcoming warmer days with our seasonal menu at CIBI.

An onsen egg with salmon and avocado tartare on toast, with a delicious Ramarro Farm mixed salad, joins our breakfast menu, alongside our favourite honey granola — always a sign that the warmer season has arrived.

Enjoy both for breakfast every day, whether you’re popping in before work or catching up with friends.

For a sweet finish to lunch or an afternoon visit, try our cheesecake with strawberry and yuzu jam and a refreshing blood orange and mint soda.

Enjoy throughout the day, every day at CIBI.

Our favourite ramen bowls.

Designed by Masahiro Mori for Hakusan Porcelain, these are bowls we reach for again and again — for ramen, rice, salads and soup.

Their generous shape gives the ingredients room, making it easy to arrange a meal and enjoy the colours of the food.

Choose from green, Tenmoku black or white Hakuji-sendan, with its fine grooves carved by hand and warm brown rim. In small and large sizes, there’s a bowl for whatever you’re cooking.

Pair yours with a ladle and chopsticks — for your own table, or as a gift for someone who loves to cook and eat.

Discover our Hakusan Porcelain collection at The Works, now open at CIBI Melbourne. Pop in to explore the exhibition and find festive gifting inspiration for yourself, friends and family.
