B.I.M.B.O. And bimbo was her name-o! 💖🌸✨️🪻💋

The staged-reading of the LEAP Level 2 plays was last night, and the excerpt of Bimbosity (Draft 3.33) was heard! (And Draft 3.69 was released from my clutches to be read!)

All the support coming in for my silly little world of Bimbosity means a lot to me. As I continue exploring femme identity and how it's developed through the generations, I'll always remember your kindness. You are my very first yass mongerers.

Specific "🙈 thanks!" to:

My LEAP cohort members (congrats to us 🥹) @miranda_bi_baker
@itsfairything
@camrynchew

Our LEAP Facilitators (the kindest souls) @shawniemacdon @west.veronique

The Yass Mongerers/Cast of Bimbosity (who slayed awn gawd) @dustyfoot_trinh @meeshqx @the_briarz @davey_pacific1 @kaitlynyott

Your feedback on the piece truly has shaped so much of how I perceive my play and where it's going. Thank you for engaging with meaningful curiosity.

Thank you to @theartsclub for having bimboism sliv its best slife on your stage for a brief moment.

Thank you to @emma.schelly for being the first outside-of-LEAP eyes to read the slay. A bestie fr fr, and def a gworl who gets it ♥︎

To my lil characters Delulu, M'Strice, Finie, Drew, and Nelle-- you've been nuts. You've been menaces. You're perfect and messy and so silly. Thanks for living in my head rent-free.

Excited to wrap up my LEAP Level 2 journey by watching the Level 3 play and participating in the playwright Q&A tonight!

Oh, and one more thing.

Bimbosity shall reign. Slay 🕺🏽🔮🌬💐🪩🎭 taken in Arts Club Theatre Company by @claudinepaed

PUBLISHED, AWARD-WINNING, DIVA!

Drink every time Claudine is proud of something in this post 🫨

So much theatre this year!

📚🎭Back in June, @momentum_180's Parallel Project had a book launch, which included my monologue, People Without Colour. @argelmdr and @jocelyn.tsui, you've truly created something so incredibly meaningful for racialized artists. Beyond proud of you, and touched to be a part of this shift towards a more inclusive theatre landscape.

⛺️🏅I made my Vancouver Fringe debut as assistant director to The Grown-Ups, and we won Best of Fest Runner-up! So proud of the @heylexacon team, whose sweetness and supportiveness made me feel so chill and confident. Your trust in me means the world. Most of the pics in the post are just them because they're so cute!

🪖👗UPCOMING! @jbm.theatre's inaugural production of Dogfight. I'm very proud of this show and all the beautiful and nuanced work our company is doing. It's truly moving! Set in the 60s on the eve of the Kennedy assassination, we explore themes of social expectation and its tragic consequences. Bring your group over to Granville Island for a night of musical theatre ♥︎ taken in Granville Island by @claudinepaed

saw my north star for the first time ♥︎

can't even begin to explain the impact miss grande has had on my life. as a singer, a comedienne, an actor, and a ♋️ cancer, i look to ari as a role model of grace, care, and humour. i knew for my first stadium concert (and not to mention "ari's lounge" vip experience) it had to be ariana and it's a memory i'll cherish forever 🧸☀️

outfit crocheted by me, inspired by a few fave ari eras ♥︎
