Power cleans-
Set up: grip should be a thumbs length off your thigh. Rotate your your lays down to set the spine in a neutral position. Squat down keeping the chest up.
Pull the bar straight up keeping it as close to your body. As the bar travels upward the ankles, knees, and hips are going to triple extend. Helping the bar travel up the body, pulling high. During the catch phase you are going to want to flip the elbows underneath the bar to catch in a front rack position. by @coachchrisgimenez

Front squats-
Hands should be just outside the shoulders. If wrists are flexible enough flip them back to create a racked position. As a regression if wrists are not flexible cross the arms over one another to create the rack position.

Settle the feet shoulder with apart, squeeze your core and lower back creating a brace effect. As the lifter you do not need to go past 90* degrees at the bottom@of the squat. Keep the elbows up through the duration of the squat movement.

*if the elbows are not up parallel with the ground the weight can roll forward. And you will roll on to your toes creating an unstable base, and you can drop the weight. by @coachchrisgimenez

Hex bar deadlifts!
Allows the athlete to get in a better starting position. Helps keep the back neutral. Having the chest up, keeping the shoulder/ back muscles flexed.
Athlete needs to drive through the ground, pushing it away and being the hips through at the top of the lift. by @coachchrisgimenez

This is what a squat should look like.
Hands are in a good position on the bar. The bar is in a good rack position across the back. The lifter displays great balance through the eccentric movement. He also shows great drive through the middle of the foot not rocking forward on the toes. He gets great depth activating the entire muscle. #Lifting #KneeBending by @coachchrisgimenez
