POSTS STORIES REELS

Well hello there 👋🏽 Welcome to Core & Floor Restore, we’re so thrilled you’re here.

Whether you’re experiencing incontinence, prolapse or diastasis recti, pregnant and/or parenting & looking for education + support, needing 1:1 or group therapy or wanting to move your body, we’ve got you!

Founded in 2018 by B (Bernadette), a midwife who experienced incontinence from 19 & then prolapse after the birth of her 2nd babe.

We’ve grown a lot since then & all of our offerings have come from what our epic community has requested. There are now 9 of us here, all mamas + health pros who get it.

If you’re here for physical prep during pregnancy or core + pelvic floor recovery at any life stage (everyone has a pelvic floor!) our self paced programs are going to meet your needs. We’ve had over 20 000 people do our programs and heal 🙌🏽 Yes you can heal + no it’s never too late!

If you’re after accountability & a diverse range of exercise modalities - @theflow.online is your chance to get your movement needs met amongst the fullness of life. Expert-led on-demand classes, education & community.

We also have a multidisciplinary team of psychs, physios & midwives to hold you emotionally during birth preparation, birth debriefing, parenting & partnering (Medicare rebates available for some sessions).

You can also work 1:1 with B as a one off or through an 8 week package where you’ll be truly heard + held. Or hang out with B in person at our 2026 retreats - there are just a few spots left!

B also runs the Modern Mum Village twice a year - this is your chance to find your village, be held in the deeper work & grow as you witness others do the same. This space is truly transformational + offers the kind of connection many of us crave.

Lastly, free antenatal classes were launched with an aim to reduce birth trauma - they’ve been watched by 100s of 1000s of people 🌏. They are & always will be a free resource for anyone, anywhere. We hope they enable you to have the most EPIC birth.

For in depth info on particular topics, our webinars will answer all your questions & more!

We’re real humans here who LOVE to connect - please reach out if you have ANY Qs. by @coreandfloorrestore

If you’re looking for CPD with an epic difference - you’ve come to the right place! Here you’ll find offerings that will expand you professionally and personally. Our 2026 offerings are now on our website.

Our focus has and will always be whole person care - reconnecting what has been separated in health, fitness and wellbeing for far too long.

The Modern Birth Workers Village opens in May - a space for all to be held, nourished, process and gain the tools needed to thrive rather than survive in your role and in the system.

Our Reconnected Birthing Mentorship is offered once a year. This is where you’ll learn the true art of Birth Debriefing and Preparation. Run over 10 months, it’s completely online - our 2026 cohort begins August 7.

We’re offering two different online workshops in 2026.

💫 The Connected Core: Integrated Pelvic Floor Health. For those working in pregnancy, birth or postpartum & wanting a deeper understanding of pelvic floor health beyond Kegels.

💫 Holding Space For Birth Stories: Understanding & Supporting Birth Trauma. Ideal for those that work clinically or therapeutically in pregnancy and/or postpartum.

If you’re after shorter online info sessions then our masterclasses are perfect bits sized offerings you can watch in your own time.

And if you’re looking for our epic community to learn more about your amazing services, you can apply to join our online directory. As an added bonus you’ll get 6 monthly connection sessions with B and your peers in this space.

You’ll find links to everything in our bio. We’re real humans here though and only too happy to connect so if you have a question please just get in touch.

Thank you for being curious enough to be here and I hope we get to connect either online or face to face sometime soon.

Big love,
B by @coreandfloorrestore

Did you know that we have an epic online store with all your pregnancy, labour & birth, postpartum, baby and kids fav items?

We’re a small family biz - B’s hubby is chief packing officer and packs your orders directly from our home to yours, with love notes + lollies 😉.

It’s because of this that we’re extremely passionate about supporting other small businesses. All the items we stock are either personal favourites or products our community has told us we need to stock!

We also have epic checklists and blogs to support you through pregnancy, postpartum and parenting. Our favs are:
💫 The Hospital Back Checklist -> everything you actually will need and use and not the stuff you won’t!
💫 The Mental Load Checklist -> an aid to go through all the tasks required to run a family and ensure the loads feeling fair for everyone
💫 Special Events Checklist -> making sure you get your needs met around events like Mother’s Day and Birthdays
💫 How to have an epic planned or unplanned caesarean birth
💫 Understanding your breath and pelvic floor tension (these are our latest!)

We also have a free online worldwide directory to help you get in touch with epic local practitioners that are aligned with our philosophy here at Core and Floor Restore.

You’ll find links to all of these and more in our bio.

Most importantly though we’re real humans here that love to connect - if you have a question or need some help, please just get in touch.

We’re so grateful you’ve stopped by and hope we get to connect with you more ♥️

Big love,
B and the CFR team by @coreandfloorrestore

These issues are common. Not normal and you don’t have to just put up with them, suffer in silence or think “this is my life now”.

From someone who’s experienced incontinence and prolapse I get the head f&$kery of core and pelvic floor issues.

I also believe in our bodies ability to heal, acknowledging that this may look different to how we’d like it to.

If you’re looking for some holistic support with your symptoms we have an online 8 week core and pelvic floor restore program, a strengthen program to keep moving with us and if you’re pregnant, we’ve got a specific program for you.

We also have online 1:1 sessions to meet you exactly where you’re at because the stories our bodies hold can be connected to our physical symptoms.

You’ll find links to everything in the bio or get in touch if you have any questions xx B and the CFR team.

I’d like to thank my loving husband who sat through way too many rehearsals until I nailed this one 😮‍💨 so much harder than it looks 😉

Truth is when I launched our OG core and pelvic floor programs back in 2019, there wasn’t much available in this space.

Now everyone’s competing and what has eventuated is people demonstrating either really simple repetitive movements (cough* doing Kegels on repeat *cough 🤦🏽‍♀️) or quite complex “how the f&$k would I do that at home?” exercises.

The pelvic floor loves movement. It also loves support from its neighbours - the hips, bum and core. It doesn’t have to be complex to be effective but it does involve more than just sucking up a blueberry like your life depended on it.

If you’d like some support to restore and strengthen your core and pelvic floor, our online Restore program is here to support you. We’ve recently updated it all and refilmed everything in line with the lastest evidence so you don’t have to do the thinking. You’ll find a link to it in our bio.

Got questions? Simply comment or msg us - we’re real humans here and would love to connect.

This is from a midwife in The Modern Birth Workers Village that I facilitate.

So many midwives move away from the birth suite not because they stopped loving the work, but because something stayed with them that never got processed.

Most of us are not given the space and support to process, learn and grow from all we meet with. We just have to keep going until we can’t anymore.

This midwife is now planning to return to birth suite when she goes back to work from maternity leave. She’s feeling calm rather than dreading it and gosh my heart lit up when I heard her share this.

This is my hope for many more midwives - to feel calm and centered in their work.

Universities and hospital systems need to provide more support for processing vicarious trauma and developing nervous system capacity for the work we do.

If you’re a maternity leader and would like to book a workshop for your team, email me. I’d love to connect.

If you work with birth and want a community that supports you in your practice and in yourself, doors will open again for the village in April 2027 - you can join the waitlist in the bio.

We also offer 1:1 sessions for those working in birth who’d like individual support.

Homebirth isn’t for everyone but choice should be.

@homebirth_australia is organising local rallies across Australia on Saturday November 21st and the Grandmother of All Rallies at Parliament House, Canberra Tuesday 24th November.

We did this back in 2009 (I was there in Canberra then) and now we’re here again 🤦🏽‍♀️.

We have more evidence, more consumers and we need more presence this time to really make a difference.

Register will be key to show our strength to MPs.

Right now we’re just asking people to save the dates and spread the word as far as possible. So please tag and share.

I’ll be back with all the deets once we have them available.

“I didn’t know that was there!”

One of the most common lines I hear when someone is able to take a pause and connect with themselves of their birth (either how they gave birth or were born themselves).

Birth matters. It impacts us more than many of us realise.

And our team is here if you feel called to connect with us.

How much do you know about your own transition into this world and what your nervous system met with then?

For some of you there may be a desire to know more, others a slight curiosity and for some a hard no/disconnect.

An invitation to just notice what’s there right now and how that feels for you.

Full hilarious reel can be found @gabrielkuper - thanks for the laughs and insight into the truth of many - how little to none we know about or own entry into this life.

For those that need to hear it…

You cannot fail birth.

I repeat…

You cannot fail birth.

You can be deeply disappointed, you can need to grieve the loss of the birth you didn’t get, you can be angry, fear may still be residing in your system, you can ache from the loss of what you wanted and needed it to be.

But you did not fail.

In fact, more strength, courage and capacity was required of you for surviving that birth than had you moved through the birth you wanted.

I invite you to see what you made it through. You did that! YOU! Yes you. You’re more fierce and courageous than I imagine you allow yourself to believe ❤️
