Meet artist, illustrator and animator CORRINA ASKIN - the latest subject of our "CNB Catch-Up" series!

Corrina has asked children the question "how would you make someone feel welcome?". She collected their contributions to produce the inspiring THE MORE THE MERRIER - a gorgeous large scale, interactive and family friendly art work which you can enjoy at 2 Royal Avenue between 4-8pm on Culture Night.

Ideas for THE MORE THE MERRIER included a present of a hot water bottle, making toast or a double helping of strawberry ice cream.

These are displayed alongside Corrina's delicate drawings which record the positive community response to the recent riots. Refreshing and poignant. A beautiful reminder of small everyday gestures and their value.

For this month’s Late Night Art, we are blessing you with not one exhibition… but TWO!🙌

Make 2 Royal Avenue one of your must visit stops and enjoy Jim Maginn’s ‘Light of Other Days’ - a photographic archive celebrating unsung heroes and legendary figures of Ireland’s traditional music scene.

Plus, explore our newest exhibition from Corrina Askin, ‘The More The Merrier’ - a joyful exhibition created with the help of children from Grow Community Garden and Reach Out, featuring Askin’s delicate drawings.

See you there, from 6-9pm👋 taken in 2 Royal Avenue by @corrinaaskin
