I’m partial to my he/him and she/her beagles (I’m learnin’) over any feline, but I appreciate this young vet tech and all the resources that he’s invested in my play! Good on you, son.

Cory Epstein first met Sunny in 2012 during their time together at Vassar as they canvassed for a congressional candidate in Poughkeepsie, and he is thrilled to have come full circle, making his producing debut on this awesome, politically-inspired work. He is a communications professional based in Brooklyn, where he lives with his husband and 4.5-year-old Australian Shepherd (not pictured). by @cory_eps

Now introducing my Presidential cabinet!

I know these people better than they know themselves, and I can assure you they each possess immense talent and integrity. I rely on and trust each of them. Except for you, Bobby. Suck my bunghole, you boat-shoe wearin’ buffoon.

The box office is in my biography. I believe there is a mail-order option. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go piss on a park bench. It’s my prerogative! by @cory_eps

My Euro Summer is over. Now it’s time for off-off-Broadway Fall. ⁣
⁣
I’m thrilled to share that I am a co-producer of the brilliant and hysterical @LBJtheplay opening in October at Paradise Factory in the East Village. ⁣
⁣
I saw this show during their three-night sold out run at Littlefield in 2024 and I knew instantly that it deserved a longer life on a NYC stage. It was one of the unique pieces of theater I had ever seen. It was equal parts hilarious, subversive, educational, and even surprisingly moving.⁣
⁣
And what makes this show so special is that it was written by and stars Sunny Zimmerman (aka @zimmer_down_), who I met back at Vassar in 2012, when we volunteered on a local political campaign. It’s pretty incredible to have it all come full circle and instead of knocking on doors in Poughkeepsie together, we’re working together to bring this play (and its cast full of fellow Vassar alum) to the East Village. ⁣
⁣
But first, we’re crowdfunding to raise the final bit of money we need to expand the production for its first off-off-Broadway run. We’re already more than 50% of the way there. Check out the link in my bio to donate or to grab your tickets (starting at only $20!) for October.

Thanks in advance for any support and hope to see you at @paradisefactorytheater this fall so you can experience LBJ for yourself!⁣ by @cory_eps

CATS: THE JELLICLE BALL FIRST PREVIEW. 10s. 10s. 10s across the board to this spectacular cast and crew, who deserved every ounce of the roaring applause they got throughout the entire show and bows. The only question remains — who’s coming with me next time??? 🐱🪩 taken in Broadhurst Theatre by @cory_eps
