I just wanna stop in to say a general big thank you to everyone for being kind and generous over the past couple weeks until I'm able to catch up and thank everyone individually. You made it a lot easier to take deep breaths and look forward to good things. by @coughingdove

Welp, here I am. First of all, I am doing fine now - back home and healing. A stomach ache became an ER visit which turned into a surprise surgery this Tuesday. You might call it a multi-thousand dollar misadventure.

It feels funny to ask for help when the world is burning and many of my friends are going through very tough seasons of their lives, but I'm going to swallow some pride and ask for a little assistance anyways. I was already struggling to pay bills, so a week off work + the hospital bill has me in an impossible spot. If you are willing and able to help in any way I will be so grateful.

I would rather you get something in exchange so I will be posting some household items and art for sale later tonight or you can request a new piece of art made for you, big or small ( a song maybe?) Just DM me about it. Or you could buy merch from coughingdove.com and I'll mail it out to you. If you feel like helping and none of those things appeal to you, you can Venmo any amount to @coughing_dove or cashapp $coughingdove

I saved some of the gritty details for off of public social media on purpose, but I'm happy to share more with you in a DM. Thanks in advance even for some positivity sent my way. Thank you to my family and @snaunee for looking after me. by @coughingdove
