This October, London National Park City is putting on a full-day community festival in Pimlico — and I am going to be there leading a low cost Sing & Stroll for Autumn (£10). https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/sing-and-stroll-with-ranger-catherine-pestano-tickets-2002227531445?aff=odcleoeventsincollection
I am really looking forward to walking slowly around the wonderful Churchill Gardens Estate in Pimlico. It was a Festival of Britain era prizewinning design for the estate itself, with its wonderful set of halls and bar. The grounds feature many fabulous huge less usual specimen trees, thanks to a link with Kew Gardens.
The London National Park City Festival is on Saturday 17 October at Churchill Gardens Estate — a full day of walks, talks, workshops, films, a marketplace of nature projects, free activities, and food. A celebration of the community making London greener, wilder, and healthier, open to everyone. Early bird tickets are £5 and kids go free.
I would love to see you there: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/london-national-park-city-festival-tickets-1997452304613 Close to the tube station.
There are also lots of other fun nature related things to do and learn about, including a short film festival. https://nationalparkcity.london/london-national-park-city-festival
See you there!
