ADCC Trials 🥉

I went 5-1 on Sunday, I’m happy I got to prove my last trials run wasn’t a fluke and that I’m able to compete at this level. That being said man I need to stop losing semi finals 🤦‍♂️

Huge thanks to my coach @lachlan_giles for running a great camp, all my training partners and students from @absolutemmastkilda & @completemixedmartialarts @artof_training

Huge thanks to @bender_jordan for being the best S&C coach known to man. Got me through the weight cut with ease 🫡

Lastly thanks to Andy and Jadine from @alchemicalfightwear keeping me wrapped up in the finest natural fibres on the market. So good having these guys supporting me and keeping my closet stocked up with hemp gear. by @cupcake_bjj

I’ve got a couple PT slots available for anyone wanting to improve their game Gi or No Gi. Armbars, chokes, leg locks, guard & passing. Just don’t ask me to teach you to wrestle.

I’d also like to do some seminars this year. If any gyms are keen slide into my DM’s. I promise to show some cool stuff. Osssssssss by @cupcake_bjj

Known as one of the top competitors at 66kg, Finn combines a dangerous guard with an increasingly well-rounded game through his focus on ADCC competition. Never afraid of a challenge, you’ll often find him mixing it up in the absolute divisions. Now he looks to cement his place among the top dogs in the lighter ranks.

@cupcake_bjj makes his Subversion debut with serious skills and accomplishments behind him. Taking home bronze at each of the last two ADCC Trials, the Absolute MMA standout heads into enemy territory with a tough opponent waiting. He’ll be looking to bring another big win back to Melbourne this November!

GRAND OPENING — SATURDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER 🖤

Our new Keilor Park facility officially begins operating from Monday the 21st, but on Saturday the 26th, we’re bringing everyone together to celebrate our Grand Opening — and everyone is invited.

Whether you train at Complete, another academy, belong to a different affiliation, or simply love Jiu-Jitsu — our doors are open to you.

We want Complete to be a place where the wider Jiu-Jitsu community can come together without the politics that can sometimes exist between gyms and affiliations. That will never be encouraged or tolerated within our facility.

Come down with your teammates, coaches, friends and family and celebrate the beginning of this new chapter with us.

On the day we’ll have:

🥋 Youth & Adult Gradings
👀 FREE No-Gi Workshop with a very special guest
🏰 Jumping Castle for the kids
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 An open day for the whole family

Can you guess who our special guest is? 👀

📅 Saturday 26th September
⏰ 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Unit 21, 2 Thomsons Road, Keilor Park — far right corner
🖤 Everyone welcome — regardless of gym or affiliation

Different gyms. Different affiliations. One Jiu-Jitsu community.

We can’t wait to welcome you into our new home. by @cupcake_bjj
