Have you met Jenny Frank? She’s our cofounder and partner over here at Daffodil. Jenny has been working in the social digital marketing space for more than 15 years (basically since the beginning!) Rhode Island grown, she moved to NYC to start her marketing career working at DailyCandy. Then, she moved out to San Francisco to join @thisisoutcast where she spent 5+ years on the digital team - that’s where she met her work wifey and PIC, @smhb! @jennycandy has worked with brands across so many industries including beauty, fashion, tech, fitness, wine, B2B, fintech, and more. She takes a heart-led approach to all the work she does as a female founder, leader, and marketing expert. She’s an Enneagram 2 which explains a lot. In her spare time, you’ll find Jenny coaching her daughter’s soccer team, cozying up at @voyagewines, or planning her next travel adventure (she’s been to 25 countries and plans to visit at least 25 more!) Say heyyy to Sarah-Maeve Hersh-Boyle, cofounder and partner of Daffodil Digital. Sarah-Maeve started working in digital marketing back in 2010 when brands had to pretend to be people to use Facebook (iykyk). She started her career in social media at VaynerMedia, and moved to @thisisoutcast where she worked on the digital marketing team and met @jennycandy… the rest is history (or current reality?)! @smhb has always loved the challenge of agency life! She has led strategy and content programs for clients in various industries including, B2B, B2C, beauty, e-commence, fintech, and more. She finds creativity and inspiration working on various accounts and with a variety of team members. On the weekends, she is usually hanging with the HB family, her husband, their 2 year old daughter, and their dogs (Betty & Tater Tot). Our co-founder @smhb took Chicago by storm at Mixing Board Live last week! Her highlights ⤵️ → Being IRL with old and new friends - shoutout to my conference crew! → Comms leaders reinforcing what we know but sometimes forget: human connection wins for brands and execs, especially as we figure out the new norms of the AI era. → Measurement needs to go beyond sentiment reports to tracking brand narrative. It’s the only way to understand the real impact of our work. → Brand reputation is built by living your values consistently and transparently, in actions not just words. That goes for internal and external comms. → Reddit isn’t a broadcast channel. It’s a place to listen and learn. I’ve said this a million times, so it was gratifying to hear Reddit’s head of comms say it live. → Running the lake path! Chicago is an epic place to log my half marathon training miles. Events like this always give me a little more fire to do the “extra” things as a business owner, and more creativity for the everyday work. Already looking forward to next year! by @daffodildigital
