I really enjoyed my first @bike.adventure.squad Bike Breakfast Club while I was on holiday last week, but as I don’t have to go into Brum for work, and getting there and back before I start would be tight. I decided to do a solo version this morning. A quick look at coffee shops that are open early enough and I ended up at Nomad coffee. A muffin and a flat white consumed,it was time for work. Potentially the first in a series, trying different venues, watch this space. #bikecommute #coffeeandcake #gravelbike by @dan_c_phillips

Found this t-shirt from 24 years ago, so had to dig out an old photo album for the pics. My very understanding wife let me fulfil a dream to ride the same track ridden by the legends @jasonmc @missythemisslegiove and @johntomac1 during our honeymoon! ❤️ #retromtb #mammothmountain by @dan_c_phillips

I picked the wettest day I could to attend my first @bike.adventure.squad breakfast club. But the weather and a puncture that required two plugs to get it to seal, didn’t put a dampener on it (see what I did there). The food and coffee from @javaroastery plus good company made it worth it. Thanks to Andy and his swift card for access to the @transportforwm secure bike storage, meaning we could get my tyre sorted in the dry and use their track pump! (My swift card application has already been submitted). Additional pics/vids by @my.bike.adventure #bikeadventuresquad #commutescount #notmadeofsugar by @dan_c_phillips

A week off means having time to play in my local woods. It’s definitely turned very autumnal,but after last nights rain, conditions were 👌#mtb #steelhardtail #mountainbiking by @dan_c_phillips

I’ve started volunteering as a cycle guide for a local charity: @ecobirmingham who promote active travel and host social cycling events along with lots of other sustainability activities. I had to pop into their offices today, so took the opportunity to grab some traffic free miles along cycle route 5 and enjoy the sunshine on the @brooklynmachineworks single speed, adding in a bit of off-road as well of course! #commute #brooklynmachineworks by @dan_c_phillips

I blame:
@my.bike.adventure
@ob1brand &
@julietelliott
For giving me the slightest interest in trail running. It wasn’t pretty or very far, but it’s a start. @merrelleu #trailrunning by @dan_c_phillips
