You will always, ALWAYS, end up where you aim.

Even if it doesn’t happen immediately, it’s a fundamental law of humanity and anyone who peruses success. Your aim will dictate your destination. Aim in an elite direction long enough, you will end up in an elite place. Aim in a pretty good direction, you will end up in a pretty good place etc.

When you think of your career and the things you do to try and reach your max potential, honestly, what direction are you aiming in?

Forget the romantic notion of success being merely about talent. It isn’t. Talent is important obviously. But really success is about staying power. You must out-everything everyone. More patience. More control. More faith. More reset speed. More knowledge. More tolerance of uncertainty. More curiosity. More willingness to forgo immediate gratification. More all of it. If it can be controlled, you must control if for longer than anyone else could possibly imagine.

Remember, this journey is meant to be lots of fun. Being incredibly intense or having fun is not a choice you need to make. You can - and should - be both at the exact same time.

This is my challenge to all you pros out there - have more fun with your talent this week. Living your dream is blessing and not a burden.

Laid out as bare as I could.

Everyone who’s pro is talented. Everyone who’s pro works hard.
And so the level you can rise to in your game is going to be dictated by your consistency. And your consistency is going to be dictated by your mental tools 🧠📈

Some players have the burning hunger to be all they can be, some players don’t. And that’s absolutely ok. Just decide what you are, own it and commit to it with your whole heart.

When you train the mind for performance, you start playing chess whilst everyone else is playing checkers.
If you’re serious about wanting to find out just how good you can be - get after it! A year from now you will wish you started today.

Train the brain, evolve your game 🧠⚽️🔥🏴‍☠️

Success feels absolutely awesome. But there are no lessons within it.
Every meaningful learn you will ever unearth is going to come smack bang in the middle of some kind of adversity.
Never miss out on the opportunity to wrestle around with some of life’s chaos.

Football is played with the feet, but it’s truly a game of the mind.
You’ll be astonished at how everything dramatically increases on the pitch and off the pitch when you start working your mind as well as your body.

DM “info” and I’ll get some info over to you.

Train your brain, evolve your game.
