To say last night was a dream come true wouldn’t do it justice. It was better than I ever could have imagined it could be.

My first ever film premiere and art gallery was a night that will be remembered for as long as I live. The support from my friends and family held me together, this night doesn’t happen without such tremendous support from you, my loved ones.

I’m so unbelievably grateful to Canon and honoured for choosing to partner with me on this event and for providing the incredible braille prints on display.

Thank you to all the sponsors Ten to One Rum, Heinz x Morley’s, Proper, Peak Drinks.

To my team, I love you dearly, you went above and beyond last night, this is your celebration just as much as it is mine. 🖤

To my brother Juls, I love you bro, thank you for letting me capture your story, for being here with me through the ups and downs, you are family to me.

Love to the DJs, Big J and Levs, and my amazing hosts for the Film Q&A and Panel, Chris Topper and Icie

To my confidant, my producer, my dearest friends and one of the most talented creative minds you’ll meet, Theresa, thank you for everything, I owe you my life 🖤

We’re just getting started, many more stories to come and moments to capture.

Love you all,

Chapter 36

My birthdays are often the one moment I get in the year to pause, reflect and most importantly celebrate what I’ve achieved so far. This year has been one of the most consistent in so many factors of my life, I truly felt like I have found my feet in my career and the opportunities I’ve received have been unreal.

But chapter 36 has taught me to really embrace the unknown, not to be fearful of what the future could hold, and not to get bogged down with where I am but actually enjoy the journey.

I’ve fallen in love with myself more this year, embraced my flaws, and made them my strengths, I’m not too old to learn, nor too old to be a better version of myself.

The most important reflection this year is I’m loved beyond words. Community means so much to me, it’s how I’ve made it through, support, without asking for anything back is why I’m here today.

To my loved ones, thank you, for believing in me, holding my hands, wiping my tears, and showing everyday that you are reason I’m alive today.

These wins are for you, the success and victories are for all of us, and the next chapter I write is to honour the love you’ve showed me.

All roads lead to The Ringside, Shoreditch, next Wednesday at 7pm.

As we gear up for our Kanye West Edition of ThisChord, let’s take a look at the making of the career defining hit in his discography, Through The Fire.

A song of pain, perseverance and triumph, and an incredible piece of art that almost never happened.

P.S – There are only 5 tickets left, so if I was you, I would grab a ticket ASAP.

It’s that time of the year where I celebrate another glorious year around the sun.

I’m turning 30 (Please mind your business 🌚) so I’m throwing a good ol’ fashioned party.

I’ve got @levselects @donchdeejay and @djoatyofficial spinning bangers all night, so you’ll hear it all!

Colour theme is shade of nude (pause) or white.
Anything with those colours will do, so hopefully you don’t need to ask me what the heck that means 😂

Saturday 3rd Oct (my actual bday)
9pm - 2am
Aura X, Shoreditch High Street

Tickets are just £10!

Can’t wait to celebrate with you, feel free to bring a plus one (just not any of my opps or they’re getting dashed out like Jazzy Jeff in the fresh prince)
