Everyone advises you to secure jobs in the medical field to enhance your application. However, I challenge you to explore medical careers to discover your true fit and gain insights into the diverse roles within the medical system. Before working in these roles, I couldn’t comprehend why I genuinely desired to become a doctor. My decision to pursue medical school stemmed from my desire to bypass the diagnostic process, and these experiences provided me with the knowledge that led me to that realization!

The end of the semester is approaching for many students and we often feel like it’s impossible to get the grades we want. One thing I learned while playing basketball is the power of the 4th quarter. The fourth quarter is the only quarter that counts because no matter what you have scored the other quarters you can either make a come back or you can feel defeated and give up the game. I encourage you to not give up the game but make a come back. We’ll be posting a reel to tell you how to do this, giving you tips on how to quickly turn around your grades.

You got this! Keep going, it’s not over until you say it’s over! It’s the fourth quarter, make it count! You still have time to change that grade

You reaching your goal is prospective. You have the choice to focus on the negativity of what's going on around you or you can push forward despite the obstacles. You have control over your success story! Keep going no matter what it looks like right now! Your future self will thank you. "It's not how you start what matters most is how you finish!"

Wishing you the best on your end of the semester finals!
