With every odd stacked against me, I was able make my dream a reality! 👩🏽‍⚕️
-2019 graduated from Undergrad as a BioChemistry major being the only female of color with my major (0.01 away from graduating with honors)
-I was accepted to my post bacc within 5 days of applying at WASHU, graduating with a 3.9(after being told it is super competitive and I should think of other options when I was applying)
- I applied to 18 medical schools was accepted to one with a conditional acceptance
-Dismissed from that program without being able to finish the semester
Now, I’m receiving my white coat!
If I can do it, so can you! Let the people doubt you and schools count you out!
You’re still in the count as long as you don’t give up on yourself!

Medical School Accepted,

Many have asked me what is next for me, well I was recently accepted into two Caribbean medical schools for the January term. I will be attending Trinity school of Medicine! After being dismissed from school this Spring. I thought my dream of becoming a doctor was over. I spent the whole summer and fall preparing to reapply next cycle. However, God opened up a door for me to start sooner.
