'The Garden Comes Inside' continues at Bolwick Hall this weekend- contemporary ceramics, painting, print and textiles in relation to the wild and cultivated garden.

"The show is gentle, meditative, beautiful and thought provoking, providing and small escape from the world."

Open Friday to Sunday this weekend and 22-24 May, ticketed by @nnfest

Please book tickets in advance if you can but walk ins are also possible

Group 1: Final Look Reveal
The first of the 10 epic looks designed by Year 1 & 2 fashion students from our 3-day residency at @norwichuni_fashion has landed & the climate impact is real.

By repurposing 0.7kg of textiles, the group reached a 35% mitigation rate, avoiding 33 kg of CO₂eq the emissions normally generated to produce the same materials new.

What does 33 kg CO₂eq represent?
🔌 Around 120 hours of electricity use in a 2-bedroom home�

📱 More than 4,000 mobile phone charges�
🚗 Nearly 270 km driven in an average petrol car�💡 Enough energy to power a fridge for about 3 weeks

A final look that proves how circular design turns creativity into measurable climate action.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing this quilt with @roberta.cummings.
This isn’t just any quilt. Yes, it is extremely beautiful, but its purpose goes far beyond that.
It is the Moon of Bethlehem Community Quilt. For Gaza. It is the work of 59 makers from around the world, stitched in solidarity with Palestinians, raising funds for @thesameerproject and @thepcrf.

It aims to be a moving and layered piece of activism through craft. “Tatreez isn’t just tradition, it’s a thread connecting people across continents in solidarity, creativity and decolonial love.” Lina Barkawi @linasthobe

The Sameer Project is a donations based initiative, led by Palestinians in the diaspora, working to supply aid to displaced families in Gaza.

Today we said goodbye to @veronikaguardi, a powerhouse of a woman.

This post is about her and for her.

I never got to photograph Veronika, but I was lucky enough to take photographs of the clothes that she created: those beautiful dresses, jumpsuits, suits...Her imagination and creativity shown through her designs. @guardiworld
