A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing this quilt with @roberta.cummings.
This isn’t just any quilt. Yes, it is extremely beautiful, but its purpose goes far beyond that.
It is the Moon of Bethlehem Community Quilt. For Gaza. It is the work of 59 makers from around the world, stitched in solidarity with Palestinians, raising funds for @thesameerproject and @thepcrf.

It aims to be a moving and layered piece of activism through craft. “Tatreez isn’t just tradition, it’s a thread connecting people across continents in solidarity, creativity and decolonial love.” Lina Barkawi @linasthobe

The Sameer Project is a donations based initiative, led by Palestinians in the diaspora, working to supply aid to displaced families in Gaza.

You can win this quilt by making a direct donation of £10 or more to one of the four fundraisers @thesameerproject  OR @thepcrf, screenshot the donation receipt you receive and email it to [email protected]

£10 is one entry to the raffle, £20 is two entries, and so on.
