Powerful setup for the annual St. Johns Academy Cadet Ball!! Was so cool to be a part of this tradition and see these young cadets in action, both in the ceremony and on the dance floor. One thing I learned as this was my first time doing a high school party in awhile was that quick mixing in and out of songs seems to be the key for Gen Z. Thanks @marylands_dj for the booking and extra sound 💪 by @djneilpaul

Thanks FB for the throwback memory of agent extraordinaire and friend @heidnseeks birthday party @thecharles_baltimore !! Wish I still had this Radiohead tour tee!! by @djneilpaul

6 years ago I performed at my first festival, Light City 🙌!! It was my first time playing live on CDJs and the event forced me to get comfortable without a laptop. I remember being heavy on the Major Lazer vibes and light theme (I do miss the glory days of Moombahton 💃 )The weather wasn’t great but I was clearly so happy with this milestone!! Hope one day Baltimore will bring back this event!

Formal DJ training @scratchdjacademy Philadelphia gave me the accountability and core principles for starting out in 2016. While formal learning is totally not necessary to be a great DJ, I knew myself enough to know that I needed this structure to stay focused on learning something new. I wasn’t even set on making a living DJing at the time but it sure started here! by @djneilpaul
