POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

One more day left in what has been the gig of a lifetime. Thank you, @karenbassla , for allowing me to serve as your DJ. Tomorrow, we take down a billionaire and make herstory. by @djpuffs

HERstory was made today, as we inaugurated @karenbassla as the first woman Mayor of Los Angeles. At one point, my tears started to flow. I felt the enormity of it all. The legacy. The history. The impact. Thank you, Madam Mayor, for reminding me how much stronger we are when we link arms, invite each other in, and build community together. Playing the soundtrack for such a historic campaign and on this very special day—and being your DJ, has been the honor of a lifetime. Onward. by @djpuffs

Heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the @utopiatribe family for having me today. The crowd’s energy was impeccable—I had SO much fun! Shouts to @djjerryflores for getting me setup, and for the hospitality. Profound love to @kgsuperstar for inviting me to be part of this special party—anytime I get to spin with you, KG, it feels like home. Thank you for giving me space to do what I love. Long live Utopia ♥️✨! by @djpuffs

✨ SYNTHESIS: November 7 + 8, 2026 ✨ We’re excited to share the artists and creatives joining us for Synthesis, a two-day group exhibition presented by Kin+Flo at Play Nice in Long Beach. We imagined Synthesis as a space to bring together artists whose work reflects their stories, histories, cultures, experiences and perspectives. On November 7 + 8, we bring that vision to life, together.

Join us. Spend time with the work, meet the artists, listen to some music, connect with someone new, and experience these stories together in one space.

Roadblocks to Creativity

Young creatives… actually creatives of every age often ask me about gear. What camera should I get so that I can take pictures and videos?
I always pause. Not because I don’t have suggestions, but because a tool will not always help with the creative process. And… you have to be willing to carry the extra baggage if professional gear is your choice. Some have bought gear that I suggested, but they seem to always leave it at home.
My friend Kristine Ono AKA DJ Puffs is a very talented creative. She asked me a couple months ago for a camera suggestion. I really didn’t have a good answer, because she is uber talented with just an iPhone 16 Pro. The stills and videos that she captures are incredible. And her eye for storytelling is next level.
The best camera is the one that you choose to have with you. Be like Puffs… give that smartphone a chance before sinking a ton of money into gear. @djpuffs by @djpuffs

✨SAVE THE DATE: NOVEMBER 7-8 @ PLAY NICE ✨

@kin_flo_ feeds my soul…and is the story of four creatives who came together with a shared purpose: to create spaces and grow a community where fellow artists can share their work, their stories, and a little bit of themselves.

This November, our story continues with our first group exhibition, SYNTHESIS. We’ve brought together an incredible group of artists who reflect the richness, range, and creative spirit of the community we’re so lucky to be part of.

Choosing the right home for SYNTHESIS mattered to us, and we couldn’t be happier to partner with @playnicelbc. Play Nice is a space that’s known for hosting some of Long Beach’s best cultural events, and Ryan is a true steward of the arts and a phenomenal creative who has welcomed us in and made Play Nice feel like home.

I hope you’ll join us November 7 + 8 for art, music, connection, and that Kin+Flo energy that invites everyone to lean in, stay awhile, and connect. Share your story and be part of ours.

Artist list coming soon.

Keep going. We got this. We are enough as is ✨. by @djpuffs
