Read about Eartha Kitt - the voice you hear in this vid. “Icon” isn’t a big enough word.
It was 2020 before I learned about the impact and influence that Black Hollywood Icons like #hattiemcdaniel, #earthakitt, #paulrobeson #lenahorne and #oscarmicheaux #josephinebaker had on the entertainment industry. Another reason to support and celebrate #blackhistorymonth. Thank you to @studiohouseatl for commissioning one of my favorite works to date. 🖤

I don’t usually show in galleries but this one felt good and right under the lights y’all - showing alongside great ATL talent and great people.

Thanks to @jhelfrecht and @echo_contemporary_art for providing the perfect space to honor this piece for @justiceforjabril.

The Elephant piece to the left of mine has me drooling. 🔥 @petieparker that’s bananas.

Shout out to @alaniletang from @atlantanewsfirst for her compassionate approach to this coverage. She spent more time speaking with and listening to families than she did in front of the camera.
Thank you.

Slowly but surely making the message known.

The other day my friend of asked if I do black and white portraits. This means I have a messaging problem.

Faces are magic to me.
Portraits, for me, are a labor of love.

So the purpose of this post is to clarify two things:
I do portraits.
I love @dollyparton
