It was my birthday last week so I wanted to share some snaps of my #Pokémon team with everyone. They are chaotic but they are mine. I like portraying them as if they have distinct personalities. That is all 🎈

Nothing like a picnic on the half-rendered Paldean plains 🌤

A long time coming, this photoshoot took place in two parts a full YEAR ago-- but I really love the shots I got here. Belvedere Castle in Central Park really evokes the feel of Mesagoza (plus we're slim on ramparts here in NYC.) 🍊🍇

👑WORLDS SCAVENGER HUNT!🌌

I challenged myself to find all 12 of my favorite guys at the @pokemon world championships this year, and took my pipe cleaner figures to see 'em all. Thank you to @morganic.lui & @thepokejesus for helping find some of my guys and offering moral support 🙏 It was a pretty fun way to get out and see everything that was on offer... I think I'll try this at my next Pokémon event too 👀

I'll be attending the Pokémon Fan Meetup by The Vessel on Sunday, October 11th and bringing some IRL Pokémon props, pipe cleaner sculptures and more. Come by with your games, your cosplays, your artwork and props-- let's make it feel like the world of pokémon has come to life for the 30th anniversary ⚡️🌌

Dress as your favorite pokémon or a trainer all your own and bring along a plush of your pokémon partner-- or just bring yourself and the vibes are made. ✨️

Worlds '26 Memories 🌉🌌

Classic yearly one-month-late Worlds scrapbook post 💫 I'm so glad to know and have met so many talented, kind and adventurous people in this community of the last 3 years. To think that Pokémon was something that I only enjoyed with a small group of friends and myself a few years ago makes the connections I've made all the more surreal. Glad to have met so many people on this journey 💫 These gifts mean a ton to me.

Thrilled I got so many people to sign my Pal Pad once again, that I was able to combine the two pieces I made at the incredible workshops hosted by @jamiejoart & @aardmananimations, and to have experienced my first-ever brush with the wonderful Wooper community out there. 🩵

🌌💙 WORLDS DAY 3 ❤️👑

From start to finish, Worlds was a packed experience. Getting to round out the con with the @lego Smart Play experience and participating in the Aardman workshop really put me in my element. I got to wander around Rayquaza Road in the waning hours of light, and watched the finals surrounded by friends new & old.

Everything I truly enjoy about pokémon was there in San Francisco. I won't forget just what that means to me. And I'll continue following where the fun takes me 💫

🌌💙WORLDS DAY 2❤️👑

A lot of Activities, but surprisingly few photos- after having to miss the cosplay meetup, it was a day of meeting up with folks and fully basking in pokémon culture. 😎

Absolute highlight of the day (and maybe the whole event) was the Wooper+Quagsire meetup organized by @quagsisfriendshaped !! I had no idea there was such a thriving community around the Wooper line 🥹 So glad I had my 3ds and my poseable Woop to take photos with the other craftspeople and Wooper devotees 🙏 It felt like a bunch of folks who all have dogs of the same breed, and meet up so they can all play together-- but for a fictional axolotl guy. I couldn't get enough.

Was excited to meet @auralaur67 cosplaying Kit from Champions (even though my face says otherwise, it was so bright out), got to craft a Pokopia habitat with the talented and delightful @jamiejoart and met a TON of friends for a massive dinner that I'm still not sure how we pulled it off. (shoutout to @morganic.lui for helping me organize and @nomu_skewers for being such gracious hosts for our HUGE group)

Being able to talk with folks from all across pokémon culture- from physical and digital artists, to competitors, shiny hunters, merch collectors, crafters, creators, ribbon masters, TCG fans, GO players, fans new and old and MORE- that's the point of Worlds. I feel so lucky to be able to call so many folks from all these different walks my friends.

👑🌌What a whirlwind few weeks-- from AnimeNYC to Worlds, it was back to back to back unforgettable pokémon experiences that reminded me why that world keeps me creating to this day 🌟

The first day of Worlds was something else- and honestly mightve been a little TOO much, but as always, I go to Worlds for the people and the culture. Being able to explore the insane amount of activations, photo ops and chaos with friends both familiar and new made every second worth it 💫

Shout out to my ride or dies @morganic.lui & @thepokejesus for carrying what was left of me after AnimeNYC into the beautiful colorful fray that is #PokemonWCS 🙏

Linking up with some incredible people-- meeting @alexketchem @pokeceez @imkevdoorn & @fawnbytes, the pokécology dioramas, my first-ever slab, the Sirfetch'd & Pichu panel, and Yuka Morii's exhibit, the very reason why I make what I make- i couldn't have asked for a better start to Worlds. 🌌

Thrilled to announce that Project 151 will be EXHIBITING at @animenyc this year!!

Come by booth #2349 all day for interactive experiences bringing you through New York's unique environments with a Pokémon flair! These activities were made specifically for Anime NYC-- which means there might be an exclusive goodie or two 😏

Take home a piece of the action, and experience the world so many of us want to live in... while learning about the one we do!
PLUS- for the first time ever, @dynamo_gear will be working on sculptures to be featured in Project 151 LIVE! Come see the process and chat about the world of Pokémon 💫

Moth Week lined up perfectly with our Community Day! And the full moon... 👀🌕

After a full week of moth-themed events like the Moth Ball hosted by @jbrpc and a lively lecture hosted by @amnh, I was more excited than ever to theme our Community Day at @thetrainercourt around these often-overlooked pollinators. Not only are they critical to the reproductive cycles of countless plants- moths comprise TEN PERCENT of ALL named species. I likened Venonat less to a gnat and more to a mite, with its fused body... but I think it still worked out 🙂‍↕️ Venonat is the larval stage, and through "Evolution," metamorphoses into Venomoth. Such a diverse and important group, fittingly represented by a similarly underrepresented line of Pokémon.

Bringing these little bugs to life with a room full of inspired crafters also excited to hear about how their Venonat might live worked so well, and I loved chatting with everyone during each session and even after the last session wrapped up. @project0151 continues this idea at a grander scale- by seeing how ALL 151 Kanto pokémon might live in and around the big city. I'm excited to explore these guys in more detail over there 👀
