Oyo State Creative Industry Mixer 2.0 is a high-level thought-leadership and networking event that will bring together creatives, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and other stakeholders to explore how local talent, cultural heritage and creative innovation can be transformed into globally competitive enterprises and intellectual property. Through thought-provoking conversations, strategic networking and meaningful industry engagement, the Mixer will examine the opportunities and challenges shaping the creative economy, from monetisation and intellectual property to emerging technologies, global markets and cross-border collaborations. Our ambition is to move beyond celebrating creativity to building an ecosystem where creative talent can thrive, creative businesses can grow, and ideas born in Oyo State can find audiences, markets, and opportunities worldwide. Our roots define our identity. Our creativity creates possibilities. Our global reach is the opportunity we must build. Yesterday felt like a full-circle moment. I stood before the teenagers of my church, Rhema Chapel Intl Churches @rhemachapeloluyole for their annual Summer Camp Experience, facilitating a session on “Beyond Scrolling, using social media for growth and productivity”. But beyond the session itself, I couldn’t help but feel the weight of nostalgia. Over 7years ago, I was one of these teenagers, sitting in the same church, learning, growing, discovering myself. Today, I’m in the Youth Fellowship, @rhemadf , and serving in a department, using the very skills and passions I discovered along the way to make an impact in the media Industry. Full circle We had a lot of fun exploring the kind of content we consume online and, more importantly, discovering the interests hiding behind our scrolling habits. The big takeaway? We are all creators. Social media shouldn’t only be a place where we consume whatever the algorithm puts in front of us. From our teenage years, we can begin to intentionally consume content that aligns with our interests, develop our skills, explore our passions and ultimately build towards the people we desire to become. Because what we repeatedly watch, listen to and engage with is shaping us. So, don’t just scroll. Learn. Explore. Create. Build. The future you desire might be hiding inside the interests you’re currently discovering. Grateful for the opportunity to give back to a place that helped shape me, and now, in a different capacity, help shape the next generation. by @ed_davidofficial

Some moments define the future of an organization–and this was one of them. We were commissioned to document the official unveiling of HBM Nigeria PLC, marking the historic transition from Lafarge Africa PLC to a new identity and a bold new chapter. From the arrival of distinguished guests and industry leaders to every speech, unveiling, and defining moment, our cameras preserved the story as it unfolded. Every frame was captured with the understanding that this wasn't just an event—it was history in the making. It's always a privilege to tell stories that matter, and documenting such a significant corporate milestone was both an honor and a rare opportunity. Here's to new beginnings, bold visions, and the stories that will inspire generations to come. #hbmnigeriaplc #corporateeventstorytelling #edmediahouse #HBMNigeriaPLCnewidentity by @ed_davidofficial

The 2026 Lafarge Africa Leadership Conference was a truly rewarding two-day experience for us as a team. Beyond the production, what stood out was the level of leadership involvement and collaboration throughout the process. It was particularly inspiring to see the CEO take an active interest in the creative direction, co-directing with us to ensure the final video captured the vision and essence of the conference accurately. When leadership, clarity, and creativity align, the outcome is always stronger. Grateful for the trust, the teamwork, and the opportunity to tell this story the right way. #edmediahouse #lafargeafricaplc #leadershipconference2026 #visualstorytelling by @ed_davidofficial
