The Jubilee' premieres at the Edinburgh International Film Festival!

Not only because it was one of the first projects I worked on in a post lockdown covid world...

Not only because I got to be on set again with director Wilma Smith after many many years....

And not only because got to work with one of my very dear friends and favourite actresses @tinasparklegray and the wonderful David Hayman...

...this film holds a special place in my heart ❤️.

The people behind the story, the inspiration, the artistry, the whole team that worked on it, the togetherness on the shoot, the feeling on set, the fabulous actors involved and the beautiful script.

It was a joy from start to finish and I can't wait to see it this weekend! by @eilidhmccormick

Some of you may know (but there's a huge chance you may not as I tend to forget to share things) that @joshalwardcoaching and I run a production company together - Vital Thread Prouctions. Why don't you give us a wee follow and check out our shiny ✨️ updated website! We've got a variety of projects on the go but are always happy to chat about new ones. If you or anyone you know is looking for a promotional video for their business or theatre production, a new or refreshed website, a facilitator/director for a workshop in a variety of skills or a voiceover for well, anything, please get in touch or pass on our details. We'd love to hear from you!

Recently I've been trying to make time for art and finding new perspectives to explore so yesterday I headed to the Tate with @carlobosticco and saw the Mirror Infinity Rooms by Yayoi Kusama who pushes perspectives, makes space and patterns seem endless and blurs the lines of where one thing ends and the other begins. Then we found ourselves in the base level surrounded in more work exploring light and visibility. Beautiful, thought provoking art and a fun day out.

We got married!! The best day of our lives. So amazing to spend time with our nearest and dearest and share and celebrate our love. Still processing it all and coming back down to earth but wanted to share a preview pic that the genius @sideyclarkphoto sent us. He's amazing, everyone should have him there on a wedding day. A master at what he does but also fun, full of humour, knowledge and so supportive. We're also lucky enough to call him a friend! This is us (me with my shoes off) having been for a paddle in the loch. More pics and posts to follow.
