Inspiring women to become their strongest selves.

POSTS STORIES REELS

Well, here we go again! 👋🏼

After losing my old account, I’m starting fresh and taking this as an opportunity to rebuild with even more purpose.

If you’re new here, I’m Ellie! I’m 40, sober, living with Lupus, and passionate about fitness, wellness, personal growth, and becoming the strongest version of myself.

I’ve spent years learning that building a strong body is about so much more than what you see in the mirror. It’s about discipline, confidence, resilience, fueling yourself properly, and showing up even when life doesn’t make it easy.

I’ve run marathons, stepped on a bikini competition stage, built muscle, navigated sobriety, and learned how to keep moving forward while living with an autoimmune disease. I’m still learning, growing, and challenging myself every single day.

My mission with this page is simple:

✨ Inspire women to build muscle and get stronger.
✨ Educate women on fueling their bodies with nourishing food.
✨ Encourage movement, fitness, and trying new things.
✨ Talk openly about sobriety, mindset, and living with Lupus.
✨ Remind women to take up space, stop playing small, and believe in what’s possible.

I want this to be a space where women feel motivated to invest in themselves, challenge their limits, build confidence, and grow into the women they are meant to be.

You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to start.

You have more power than you think. You can change your habits, build strength, shift your mindset, and create a life that feels like YOURS.

Your body. Your choices. Your life. Your next chapter.

I’m so happy you’re here. Let’s grow together. 🤍

My nightly release routine.
I hold each pose for 2-5 minutes, breathe, and let my body actually let go before bed. My body (and brain) thank me the next day.

Save this for tonight and tell me how you sleep

I used to think some people were just “born with glutes.” Nope. Your glutes are a muscle, and muscles grow when you train them heavy, eat enough protein, and stay consistent long enough to see it.
No magic, no shortcuts, just reps and patience.
If I can build mine, you can build yours.

New page, same me.
I’ve been lifting for 10+ years and this is the leg day I keep coming back to.
Nothing fancy:
Smith machine, heavy weights, slow reps.

Want the full workout + my finisher?

A year ago, I was in a really good place with my fitness, and today I’m excited about all the ways I’ve continued to learn, evolve and grow.

I don’t believe in constantly changing because something isn’t good enough. I believe in staying curious, challenging yourself and finding new ways to support your body as your needs change.

Over the past year, that has meant introducing new rituals like meditation, cold plunges, breathwork and therapy. Finding foods that make me feel my best and recognizing that what once worked for me might not work the same way today. Exploring different styles of training, setting new fitness goals and challenging myself in ways I never expected.

Our bodies change. Our priorities change. Our goals evolve. And the things that support us should evolve, too.

I don’t want to do the same things forever just because they’ve always worked. I want to keep learning, experimenting and discovering what makes me feel stronger, healthier and more fulfilled.

That’s the beauty of this journey. There’s always something new to explore, another goal to chase and another opportunity to grow.

It’s not about constantly trying to become someone different. It’s about continuing to become the best version of yourself. And that’s part of the fun. by @elliev_fitt

No more waking up with regret. No more numbing emotions you were meant to feel. No more borrowing happiness from a drink and paying for it the next day.

Instead, you learn how to sit with your feelings, protect your peace, trust yourself, and show up for the people you love.

December 14, 2020 was my last drink. And looking back, giving up alcohol was one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever given myself.

My anxiety changed. My sleep improved. My body felt better. My relationships grew. And I started becoming the woman I always wanted to be.

Sobriety didn't take away my fun. It gave me my life back. 🤍

If you’re questioning your relationship with alcohol, let this be your reminder that there is so much life on the other side. by @elliev_fitt

Being a powerful woman isn’t about having it all together, being perfect, or proving yourself to anyone. It’s about remembering who the hell you are and deciding you’re no longer willing to abandon yourself for anyone or anything.

It’s about taking your power back.
Trusting your voice.
Setting boundaries without feeling guilty.
Choosing yourself without apologizing.
Walking away from what no longer serves you.
Taking care of your body, protecting your peace, and being unapologetically YOU.

It’s about realizing you don’t need permission to change, grow, evolve, or become someone you’ve never been before.

You can be soft and strong.
Kind and fiercely protective of your energy.
Confident and still a work in progress.

And here’s the thing: the most powerful version of you isn’t someone you have to become. She’s already there. Sometimes you just have to peel back the layers of expectations, fear, self-doubt, and everything you’ve allowed to make you forget her.

Stop shrinking. Stop waiting. Stop putting yourself last.

Take yourself back. Your energy, your confidence, your voice, your body, your life.

You are allowed to become a woman who chooses herself. And there is nothing more powerful than that.❤️ by @elliev_fitt

Want a stronger, tighter-looking core? 🔥

This plank variation is one of my favorites! Hold your plank, rotate your torso, reach one arm toward the ceiling, then switch sides and repeat.

You’re challenging your entire core, including your obliques and deep stabilizing muscles, while working on shoulder stability, balance, and rotational control.

The key is to keep your hips as steady as possible, brace your abs, and breathe through each rotation instead of letting your lower back take over.

Over time, building a stronger core and improving your posture can help create a more defined look through your midsection. You may also improve rib positioning and control.

Quality over quantity.
Slow down, stay controlled, and make every rep count! 💪🏼

🍑 3 moves I’m consistently doing to grow my glutes!

Building your booty isn’t about constantly changing your workouts or doing a million different exercises. It’s about finding movements that work, showing up consistently, and getting stronger over time.

Here are my top 3:

🔥 1. Hip Thrusts— One of my favorites for targeting the glutes directly. They load your glutes through hip extension and help build strength, size, and that roundness we’re after.

🔥 2. Bulgarian Split Squats on the Smith Machine— These are 🔥 for unilateral strength, stability, and glute development. Taking a slightly longer stance and allowing a forward torso lean can help emphasize your glutes while also working your quads.

🔥 3. Smith Machine Narrow-Stance Squats— A great way to build your lower body while targeting your quads and glutes. Adjusting your stance, depth, and torso position can change how much each muscle contributes.

💪 The secret? PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD.

You can’t expect your muscles to grow if you keep doing the same thing without challenging them. Track your workouts and gradually increase the weight, reps, or quality of your execution while maintaining good form.

You don’t need 15 different booty exercises. You need a few effective movements, proper technique, enough recovery, good nutrition, and the consistency to keep getting stronger.

Strong over skinny. Muscle over everything. 🍑

Save this for your next glute day!
