It started with me. I decided to change my life & then knew it was my purpose to do the same for other women ā¤ļø

I’ve had so many women come to me wanting to lose fat or do a body recomposition. But what I’ve noticed is almost always, their goals were tied to how they looked.

But as they go through my program, the most incredible thing happens (& it truly makes me so happy because the same exact thing happened to me): their mindset shifts…..

ā€œWow, I feel amazing after a workout.ā€
ā€œWow, I didn’t know I could have this much energy naturally!ā€
ā€œI didn’t restrict my food today.ā€
ā€œI felt confident for the first time in years and finally asked to do that presentation I’ve been wanting to do forever!ā€

Yes, I do love me a physical transformation & I can help you achieve that. But what’s even better? Creating habits that completely change how you live your life, the standards you hold for yourself, the confidence you build, the person you can look at and say ā€œdamn I am so proud of YOU.ā€

Joining a mentorship or hiring a coach isn’t always easy - I get it. It took me almost a year to commit to my business mentorship. But the moment I did, it changed everything. I wasn’t lacking hard work - I just needed better systems and structure. That’s exactly what my mentorship gave me… and that’s exactly what I’ll give you, and so much more.

The truth is: no time is ever perfect to chose yourself. But continuing to try to figure it out on your own while you continue to get the same results…doesn’t really make sense.

So I hope you see that you are worth the investment. You are worthy of so much. To not only look good but feel good too.

When something is your true calling it will never pass you by…..

What God has for you is greater than anything you can imagine. But to receive it, you must choose surrender, consistency, and obedience.

So many times I kept doing what I thought was the ā€œrightā€ thing but I never felt aligned because it wasn’t the right thing for me. I knew my calling. And when I finally let go - although not an easy path things started to make sense.

Don’t get me wrong, everything I’ve been through - I wouldn’t change it because it’s made me who I am today. It’s given me so much compassion, and understanding for others.

I used to feel bad about being so passionate because I felt as though a lot of people couldn’t understand my vision or were like ā€œcan you chilllllā€, but now that I’ve truly accepted what’s for me - this is just the beginning of something that’s BEEN growing!!

& I’ve have always been a happy and positive person no matter what I go through - that’s just who I am. I’m silly (sometimes ditzy 🤣🤣) but I see the good in life & people. My super power is seeing the potential you may not see in yourself and igniting it. I’m here to hold you accountable to take yourself to the next level, the highest standard. Because I know it’s within you!!

I love what I do and I’m so excited to continue on this journey with all the amazing women out there šŸ¤šŸ¤

For the longest time I kept telling myself I needed to do MORE. Work harder, train harder, be more disciplined. I constantly felt like I wasn’t doing enough when in reality, I was already doing the MOSTTTTT!!!

I’ve worked full time through nursing school, worked 12–14 hour shifts in the hospital during COVID and managed a chronic illness while prioritizing my health and losing 30 lbs.

I know what it feels like to have a million things on your plate. I grew up watching my mom navigate life as a single mom. I understand that life is BUSY.

But I also know that your health can’t always be the thing that gets pushed to the bottom of your priority list.

That’s why I work with ambitious, hardworking women who feel like they’ve tried everything, yet still aren’t seeing the results they want.

You don’t necessarily need to do MORE. You need a better system.

A plan that works with your life, intentional habits and the right support to help you build strength, improve your health and reach your goals without living in extremes.

You can be ambitious, work hard, build a career, show up for your family ANDDDDD prioritize yourself.

You don’t have to choose. You just need to learn how to make it work for YOU (and that’s MY SPECIALTY)!!! taken in Toronto, Ontario by @emily.pyke

A lot has changed over the last couple of years and tbh, I’ve been finding it hard to show up on here the way I used to.

If you’ve been following me from the beginning, you probably remember my fitness transformation. Fitness is still such a huge part of my life but theres been a lot of growth and change behind the scenes too.

When I was 26, I moved back to Canada after living in Florida for two years working as a nurse + my coaching bizz on the side. At the time, my endometriosis was also getting really bad (nursing made it worst) and I knew I needed to prioritize my health. It was also time to finally take the coaching business I’d been building on the side for years and go all in.

But going all in meant starting over in a lot of ways.

I downsized my life, learned to live below my means, made sacrifices and started investing in myself and the business I wanted to build. And it wasn’t always necessarily ā€œfun.ā€ There were a lot of uncomfortable moments, uncertainty and times when I had to trust that what I was working towards would eventually pay off.

Fast forward two years, I completely left nursing about 6 months ago (I was still doing it casually) and I’ve been back in Canada for two years now and back living in downtown Toronto for six months.

I’m still growing, still learning and still figuring things out. But looking back, I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.

More in comments cause insta can’t fit my whole caption cause I talk too much lol ā¬‡ļø taken in Toronto, Ontario by @emily.pyke

Find the joys in the little things…everyday!!

When you’re constantly waiting for the next big thing to happen, you stop enjoying the present moment and forget how all the small things are what make up a beautiful life….

And the small daily habits are what get you the big results too….so keep showing up but start enjoying the process and focus on one day at a time vs the outcome!

Okay also beef patties at the farmers market?!? Had me reminiscing on the warden station beef patty days growing up in Scarborough 🤣🤣 taken in Toronto, Ontario by @emily.pyke

Mid 2019, I gained around 30 lbs while working full time and going to nursing school during COVID. I was dealing with so much that I stopped prioritizing my health, all while dealing with undiagnosed endometriosis.

By September 2020, I knew something had to change. I focused on nutrition and training from home (because gyms were closed) and lost those 30 lbs sustainably in 4-5 months!

Then in 2023, while working as a nurse doing 12 hour shifts and nights, my endometriosis was getting worse and I gained around 20 lbs back. I struggled with inflammation and eventually needed a second surgery.

At first, I was frustrated about gaining the weight back but my body was struggling and that wasn’t my fault. I needed to slow down and prioritize healing.

Over the last two years, I’ve focused on my internal health, nervous system regulation, rebuilding my strength and creating habits I can actually maintain.

I’m still a hustler LOL it’s just in me….but now I’m a SOFT HUSTLER. My health comes first ALWAYSSSS

Just a reminder your fitness journey won’t be linear and that’s ok. I’ve had to restart after surgeries, injuries, health struggles and major life changes. This year alone, I moved around SEVEN times (but still kept up with my health!)

There will never be a perfect time to start……

If you feel behind or like you’re starting over, you’re not back at square one. You have experience, knowledge and the ability to do things differently.

Start small. Take it one day at a time. Build habits that support the life you want.

Because the time will pass anyway. The question is…what are you going to do with it?

I know that with little to no guidance from your gyno or doctor after an endometriosis diagnosis (been there personally), getting back into the gym or even starting can feel scary and honestly impossible.

I also almost quit the gym after being consistent for years because of the pain and exhaustion I was experiencing post surgery.

So I took it upon myself to first learn how endometriosis works as a whole so I could then learn how to work with my body instead of constantly working against it and then educate other women too!

I had to completely change the way I looked at training….not because women with endo can’t train hard but because I needed to understand what my body was telling me and how to support it! I used to train 5-6 days a week while working as a full time nurse in the ER plus having my business on the side….and wondered why I was always flaring lol. Endo women are SO strong but it doesn’t mean you should be torturing yourself in the gym and I promise you don’t have too. I train 3x a week and look + feel the best I have ever in my life..!!

So to my endo ladies…..

You don’t have to give up the gym.
You don’t have to be afraid of getting strong.
And you don’t have to follow a massive list of things you’re ā€œnot allowedā€ to do.

You just need to learn how to train for YOUR body!

Truly crazy how after YEARS like double digits of searching for answers once you finally do get diagnosed with endo post surgery - you’re still given little to no knowledge on how to manage your endo going forward. Just offering birth control is not the solution. If you pair birth control with other things such as nutrition, nervous system regulation, strength training then okay…we’re getting somewhere. But I was literally told if I don’t take birth control - my endo is MY FAULT?! That’s insanity!!! Birth control was no longer an option for me as it personally made my health worst and I tried over 10 types….

As a former nurse I believe in informed choices but if women with endo are not even being educated on the diseases itself never mind the multiple modalities that can help manage symptoms - how are they supposed to do that?

Let’s keep speaking up and fighting for more research and better care!!

I think we all have been seeing this all over the internet lately: ā€œI can’t lose fat because of my hormones.ā€

But what hormones are we actually talking about? Cortisol? Estrogen? Progesterone? Most people don’t even know what that means or how it relates to fat loss……

It’s similar to the whole ā€œcortisol causes belly fatā€ conversation. Hormones absolutely matter yessssss but they don’t exist in isolation!

And this is coming from someone with (well managed) endo + PMOS (reversed). Managing these conditions is complex, yes but a huge part of it comes down to your daily habits.

Before jumping into a fat loss phase….please ask yourself:

* Are you eating enough protein (and carbs + FATTTTS - for your hormones)
* Are you strength training?
* Are you sleeping?
* Are you managing stress?
* Are you eating balanced meals consistently?
* Are you moving your body regularly?

Because if the foundations aren’t there….thats usually the first place to look.

Hormones can influence your habits, energy, hunger and cycles but your habits also influence your hormones.

So let’s stop just blaming your hormones and look at what you’re doing to either support them or work against them!!

Anyone else feel like September flew by?!

But looking back a year ago - I can truly say so much has changed. Its honestly so exciting to continually grow + become a better version of yourself everyday 🫶

And ladies stop waiting for the right time to start…..take that first step forward TODAY, even if you don’t feel ready. The rest you’ll learn along the way - I promise šŸ¤

I had to leave behind so much to become the woman I am and today and continue to become (and that was HARD!) but I am so happy I did. Life just gets better and better when you decide to put yourself first and go after whats always been in YOU and your heart! taken in Toronto, Ontario by @emily.pyke
