There may not be hard science around “cycle synching” but lots of friends sure do have this experience!

Science is just catching up in women’s health. As women our bodies, our hormones and our cycles are complex, but that doesn’t mean they to be confusing. When you learn to listen to and respond to the signals your body is sending you, it puts you in the drivers seat. by @essentialmidwife

What does midwifery have in common with chiropractic care?

More than you might think!

I loved having @essentialmidwife from @sevencitiesmidwifery on the Live Higher Podcast because, despite working in different areas of healthcare, we share so much of the same philosophy.

Health is about more than numbers on a chart or a collection of symptoms. It’s about the whole person. Their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

And whether you’re helping someone through pregnancy or helping someone overcome chronic pain, that bigger picture matters.

the end of August

It’s never been my favorite month. There are so many beginnings and ends in this month and this year was no different. It always has me reevaluating as it’s the first month of my new year of life and it always opens me wide to change. I think this is why I’ve come to love the fall so much as I’ve gotten older. For me, it signifies a huge change but a change that is so beautiful and vibrant and colorful and crisp and clean.

This anniversary will mark 25 years together as husband and wife. 🤍

I am so proud of us. Proud of the life we’ve built, the memories we’ve made, the hard seasons we’ve walked through, and all the ways we’ve grown together.

What a beautiful evening… just the two of us, sharing dinner and talking about our dreams, our memories, the life we’ve created, and everything we still have to look forward to.

I’m so grateful for where we’ve been, excited for where we’re going, and I cannot wait to celebrate 25 years of us in Scotland. 🥂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

POV: Aging gracefully…but with extensions. Obviously. 😂

Every 6 weeks it’s back in the chair for the move-up, refresh, blend, and tone. It’s a financial and time commitment for sure. 💇🏼‍♀️✨

But then she spins the chair around and suddenly I remember exactly why I do it.

Because apparently my version of aging gracefully includes good hair, strong muscles, and absolutely no intention of becoming low maintenance. 💁🏼‍♀️ I mean… I never really was low maintenance anyways.
