She sat in the corner for a month waiting for this exact moment. I couldn’t find the “missing piece” of this one, so I let it breathe. One morning it just clicked. Never underestimate the power of waiting. It takes trust that the vision will come in time. Have you ever had a new idea come to you when you waited? FLOATING Acrylics and paper on canvas Size: 130x100 cm DM for inquiries #Copenhagen #TrustTheProcess #ArtProcess #emergingartists #landscapeartist taken in Copenhagen by @evamielle_

Reimagined 35x60 Acrylics on wood Don’t kill your darlings - reimagine them. This was one that just didn’t feel right to me. I kept it how it was for a long time but it didn’t connect so I took a risk and last week I spent some time on it - reimagining what it could be and now it feels right - it moves me. Tempted to just take this one home 🤎 #emergingartist #copenhagenartist #ᴀʀᴛᴄᴏʟʟᴇᴄᴛᴏʀ #AbstractExpressionism #minimalistart taken in Vesterbro, Copenhagen by @evamielle_

Rob van Hemert’s work is rooted in structure, but never feels fixed. Lines, grids, repetition and proportion come together through a considered use of mathematical principles, creating compositions that shift between order, rhythm and movement. Placed alongside other works, the geometry and rhythm of Rob’s compositions create unexpected connections between different forms, gestures and ways of seeing. Friday 11 September there is a reception at @ciotto.frb where my art will be hanging for the next month. If you have been following along and you are around we’d like to welcome you. This is an exciting collaboration as I am a fan of Ari and Spiros’ design work. Come by, take a look around, and who knows what interior treasure you will want to take home 😉 Ciotto’s incredible coffee and matcha will also be available. ✨ #abstractart #frederilsberg #copenhagenart #emergingartist #københavnkunst by @evamielle_

Welcome to my new studio and gallery space in the heart of Copenhagen. I’m still settling in and finding my rhythm here, but the light has already been incredible. I’m sharing the space with the wonderful ceramicist @heleneschjoedts, and it’s exciting to see the space slowly come to life. I’d love to welcome you by anytime to see what I’m working on—and perhaps find a treasured piece to take home. DM me if you’d like to stop by for a coffee ☕️ Kingosgade 6, Copenhagen #CopenhagenArt #ArtistStudio #NordicArt #ContemporaryArt #openstudio by @evamielle_

Some things bend under pressure. That’s not weakness, that’s resilience. Bent Not Broken is forged from brushed steel, shaped by force, but never fractured. It’s the things that shape us that create art in our lives. ✨ What has happened in your life that you felt would break you — but only molded you into something more beautiful? Share it in the comments. I would love to hear your story. 🤎 📩 DM for inquiries #BentNotBroken #ArtThatSpeaks #Resilience #SteelArt #modernsculpture taken in Copenhagen, Denmark by @evamielle_
