July recap, yes it very late 😅

Ugh 6mos without my mom and its more and more noticeable that her presence is everywhere and nowhere at the same time. 😭

My dad was honored by being asked to be the grand Marshal of our town's 4th of July parade and he asked me to ride with him. That was a lot of fun. He's an Army Ranger veteran from the Korean war. 3x recipient of the purple heart. 💜

Coffee and books is how I tend to relax. So on occasion I'll go get a latte and read outside of my normal environment. It helps me restore my sanity.

I helped my friend work on his plants. Its a huge project to repot so many plants, but I do love to work with plants and garden whenever possible.

About 1x a week I take a bag and wear gloves to pick up trash in my neighborhood. I don't want to live in a messy place and its helping the environment. Its super challenging to do this while walking my dogs. 😂

We had a flea problem pop up and so I had to bathe and brush all the dogs. It was quite the event. 😂

My oil was still curing in July and I love doing things the old fashioned way for my apothecary business.

My dad and I went to Idaho for a family reunion and we got to get out on the water, enjoy the company of our family and friends and eat some amazing food. I'm grateful for that break because it was so needed for my dad and I to just get out of the house and the environment of downsizing an entire lifetime.
My brother is the tall guy in all black. 😅😂

On the journey home we had to be in Spokane WA to catch the flight, so we stayed overnight in a cozy Airbnb. I found a local coffee shop to hang out in while we waited for the Airbnb to be ready. We chatted with the locals about books and how they liked the area. Just love a cozy coffee shop.

After that trip is back to the routine.

Volunteered massage therapy at Jackie's 5k Operator event. It was awesome to meet other people holding the standards of personal excellence.

Went to an incredible live show at the nocturne theater. It was a beautiful experience and amazing talented singers.

Taught my Tarot & Tea class/July and it was my 12th class teaching at the crooked path. I love teaching.

In late June, the Operator Standard launch happened in St. Louis, and a few thousand of us came together around one mission: Personal excellence is the ultimate rebellion.

The idea is simple, but powerful. If we want things to get better, we have to start with ourselves. We improve ourselves, take responsibility for our lives, and lead by example. That’s how we create change, not only individually, but collectively.

ARCANE is going to change everything.

If you want to understand how to reverse engineer your dreams and goals and turn them into something you can actually execute, ARCANE gives you the map. But you still have to do the work. You have to win your days, stay accountable, and consistently push the needle forward.

I’m incredibly grateful that I was able to make it to St. Louis for this event. I submitted a testimonial and was selected to receive a complimentary ticket, and because my best friend lives there, I was also able to stay with her and spend some much-needed time with her and her family.

Being surrounded by so many like-minded, goal-oriented people was incredible. The crews inside the app have become genuine support systems built around accountability, encouragement, and growth. Getting to finally meet so many of the strong, driven women I’ve been growing alongside for the last eight months was especially heartwarming.

I still don’t really have the words for how impactful this experience was,or what this technology has done for me personally.

I still have a long way to go. Losing my mom earlier this year derailed me in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. Grief changes your priorities, your energy, your focus, and sometimes your ability to simply keep moving forward.

Having ARCANE there during one of the most difficult periods of my life gave me structure when I needed it. It helped me continue navigating grief while pushing myself to grow, start building my business, and keep moving toward the life I’m trying to create.

It didn’t do the work for me. It helped me keep doing the work when life got hard.

I’ll never be able to fully thank Andy for having the vision to create this system, and the discipline and determination to execute it. by @eve_morrigan

June Recap:

It was an incredibly full month for me. Pushing 5 mos now without my mom and I really hope one day I can stop counting the months without her because the grief is so fresh its hard not to right now. These yellow butterflies come to visit every day and we believe that it's my 3 1/2 sisters and my mom now coming to check in on us. There never used to be 4 but there is now.

New life consistently turns up with little reminders that life is precious. The peahens have hatched some babies amd they are running around with their mothers.

The enormous mess that I'm working with my dad to clean up is slow and tedious with 1 million more decisions to go. We've already donated 4 truckloads to charities and more to the library and a women's shelter. Not to mention what was trashed because it was ruined. If you've never lived with a hoarder you cannot understand how difficult it is to clean it up.

On a brighter note. Darya and I taught a successful shadow work series and I taught another tarot and tea class. This kind of work is really fulfilling for me as it makes me feel really incredible to know that my students found value in what I have to teach. It comes from my own lived experiences.

My auntie Shirley came out to visit just to help us with this house. I gotbso much done with just the one extra person to help me and she also my other auntie Mary came too and has been helping when she can. We took Shirley to Oak Glen, my mom loved it there. We let some of her friends know that she was gone, that was har Its a beautiful area with apple orchards, a farmers market with the best jams and a honey shop that has amazing flavors.

My mom always loved the "Our Lords Candle" she called them "God's Candle" flowers. Its a native yucca plant.

I spent Father's day with my dad at the VA post for breakfast.

Off to to St. Louis Missouri for the Operator Standard launch. This was incredibly important for me to make. I'll be making a whole separate post about this trip. I had a long layover in TX so I was able to see my friend Scott for lunch. I was able to attend my best friend's son being sworn into the Navy at the Cardinals stadium. Seeing Andy live was amazing! by @eve_morrigan

For the last 6 mos I've been part of a group beta testing ARCANE on the Operator Standard app. Its why I'm currently in St Louis Missouri for the live launch this Saturday June 27th 2026. I have been listening to Andy for about 7yrs now. I have gained a lot of insights and business advice from listening to his podcast. 75Hard was a tremendous help and I've always been an athlete. It helped because it's not a fitness challenge. Its a mindset challenge.
I believe in Andy and the messages he shares. If you haven't listened to him consistently and all you see are his cars and money you are missing the point.
He wants everyone to succeed so we all grow and help each other make the world a better place.
ARCANE is not just another AI bot. Its completely different as it helps you shift your mindset, change your bad behaviors and get your goals broken down into manageable achievements to push that needle forward.
Its helped me navigate the grief and start my apothecary among many other things.

More to come soon! Its going to change everything. I believe that.

The Healing Power of the Springs

I spent 24 hours soaking in the geothermal waters at Murrieta Hot Springs, and the contrast I noticed in myself was remarkable.

Over the past several months, I've been carrying the physical demands of clearing my parents' estate, downsizing years of belongings, navigating grief, and managing ongoing stress at home. My body and mind have been running on overdrive.

For a brief moment, I gave myself permission to stop.

I soaked, floated, experienced the contrast pools, and spent time in the mineral-rich waters. What struck me most wasn't the physical relief, it was the mental quiet. The combination of heat, cold, buoyancy, and stepping away from daily responsibilities created a sense of calm that's difficult to achieve when we're constantly moving from one task to the next.

My stress was still waiting for me when I returned home, but something had changed. I slept for 8 hours straight, something I haven't done in months. Sometimes, we don't realize how much tension we're carrying until we experience what it feels like to set it down for a little while.

Beyond relaxation, geothermal waters contain naturally occurring minerals associated with recovery and wellness.

Silica supports healthy skin, hair, nails, and connective tissues.

Bicarbonate may help improve circulation by encouraging blood vessel dilation.

Magnesium and Calcium support muscle relaxation, nervous system function, and joint health.

Sodium helps regulate fluid balance and can leave the skin feeling softer after soaking.

The springs also offer contrast therapy, alternating between hot pools and cold plunges to stimulate circulation, support recovery, and build resilience to physical stress.

I also experienced Terrathermal Mud Therapy, which combines mineral-rich water with Mojave Desert clay to nourish the skin and provide a deeply grounding experience.

Sometimes recovery isn't about fixing what's broken. Sometimes it's simply giving your body and mind enough space to remember what balance feels like.

Yesterday, we gathered once again in sacred space and chose to go deeper.⁣
⁣
If Initiation was about recognizing the shadow, Descent was about listening to it.⁣
⁣
Together, we explored the layers beneath our patterns, emotional triggers, protective behaviors, and the stories we have carried for far longer than we may realize. Through the lens of Carl Jung, ritual, tarot, meditation, tea, reflection, and honest self-inquiry, we began uncovering not only what our shadows contain, but why they formed in the first place.⁣
⁣
We spoke about the masks we wear, the roles we learned to play, the survival strategies that once kept us safe, and the hidden parts of ourselves that have been waiting patiently to be understood.⁣
⁣
More importantly, we practiced something that can feel both simple and incredibly difficult:⁣
⁣
✨ Understanding instead of judgment.⁣
✨ Compassion instead of shame.⁣
✨ Curiosity instead of fear.⁣
⁣
I want to acknowledge every person who chose to continue this journey.⁣
⁣
Descent requires a different kind of courage.⁣
⁣
The courage to sit with what surfaces.⁣
The courage to explore the roots beneath the pattern.⁣
The courage to listen to the parts of yourself you may have spent years trying to silence.⁣
⁣
This work is not easy, and yet each of you showed up willing to meet yourselves with honesty, vulnerability, and an open heart.⁣
⁣
For that, I am deeply grateful. 🖤⁣
⁣
A special thank you to The Crooked Path LA @thecrookedpath_la and the incredible Eve Morrigan @eve_morrigan for creating a space where this work could unfold. It is an honor to witness such meaningful conversations and courageous self-exploration.⁣
⁣
As we move toward Reclamation, the journey shifts once more.⁣
⁣
We have looked.⁣
We have listened.⁣
We have begun to understand.⁣
⁣
Now we prepare to reclaim.⁣
⁣
To everyone who joined us:⁣
⁣
Thank you for your trust.⁣
Thank you for your honesty.⁣
Thank you for your willingness to descend into the depths and remain present with what you found there.⁣
⁣
The shadow spoke.⁣
⁣
And this time, you listened a little deeper. 🌙🐍🍎🖤✨⁣

Another month is gone. May recap.

I did 2 pop-up markets. 1/2 way to Halloween and @theaftermathbar spring splash. They were both really fun, and I learned a lot about what people are seeking in their own personal practices. Whether they are connected to God or the Goddess or just spiritually minded or just curious and body conscious.

I baked a lot. Huckleberry scones, blackberry lemon cake, pineapple upside-down cake, and a sweet potato ginger cake.
I've been cooking most of our meals too. I cooked before my mom passed, but she usually saved her energy to cook for us as often as she could.
I made a good chicken noodle soup and stuffed peppers, I made a pretty decent steak and made tacos at the end of the month.

I taught 2 different classes this month. My tarot and tea class and a new series with Darya, our shadow working Night Mirror class. @thelilithiantherapist this series will run the next 2 weekends in June as well. 3 wks total. It was such a great first class. I really feel people connected into themselves on a deeper level.

It rained a little bit, and I took some nice rose shots. The rain also stressed me out because of how much stuff we are still sorting through outside.

The tree outside on city property died and decided to break and hit the house. I had to take a mini chainsaw to it and get it cleaned up. It happened at 730pm after we spent the day working to unload one of the storage units. My dad helped move the branches I was cutting down. Didn't think I'd use the forestry knowledge I learned in Montana in CA but here I am. Lol I don't have any pics of me using the chainsaw. It wasn't on my priority list at the time.

A friend came over to help with the pitch stuff on the roof, the entire roof which took the better part of 3 days to do, really helped my dad out, and he also painted the little house which was also helpful.

I'm approaching 4 months without my mom and I'm mostly still stuffing the grief down. I did breakdown going through a box of her books and magazines. I usually handle it alone but my friend was there, and I got through it a little better. It's an awful experience. But we are getting this stuff downsized so we can move. by @eve_morrigan

Yesterday, we gathered in a sacred space to begin a journey that many spend a lifetime avoiding. Not because it is easy, but because it asks us to turn toward the parts of ourselves we have been taught to turn away from.⁣
⁣
Together, we explored the foundations of Shadow Work through the lens of Carl Jung, reflection, ritual, tarot, meditation, tea, and honest self-inquiry. We spoke about the hidden aspects of the self, the stories we inherit, the masks we wear, and the ways our shadows quietly shape our lives from beneath the surface.⁣
⁣
More importantly, we practiced something many of us were never taught:⁣
⁣
✨ Meeting ourselves with curiosity instead of judgment.⁣
✨ Compassion instead of criticism.⁣
✨ Awareness instead of avoidance.⁣
⁣
I want to take a moment to acknowledge every single person who attended.⁣
⁣
Shadow work requires courage.⁣
⁣
It takes bravery to sit with discomfort.⁣
It takes bravery to ask difficult questions.⁣
It takes bravery to look honestly at yourself and remain open to what you find.⁣
⁣
Each of you showed up willing to do exactly that.⁣
⁣
And for that, I am deeply grateful.⁣
⁣
🖤⁣
⁣
A special thank you to The Crooked Path LA @thecrookedpath_la and the incredible Eve Morrigan @eve_morrigan for inviting me to be part of something so meaningful, intentional, and sacred. It was an honor to share this space, witness these conversations, and walk beside such a powerful group of souls as they took their first steps into the work.⁣
⁣
As we move forward into Descent, the journey deepens. The door has been opened. The conversation has begun. And now we continue the work of listening to what has been waiting patiently in the dark.⁣
⁣
To everyone who joined us:⁣
⁣
Thank you for your trust.⁣
Thank you for your vulnerability.⁣
Thank you for your willingness to be seen.⁣
⁣
The shadow has spoken.⁣

And you listened. 🌙🐍🍎🖤✨⁣

April recap-was fairly busy. It's just about 3 months without my mom, and I'm still mostly ignoring the grief to continue to function at a higher productivity level in order to assist my father with the estate. A lot has been trashed that was ruined, and a large donation pickup for the VA.

I was able to get out a little this month and met 2 amazing female authors. @avamorgyn
And @tiffanyrosewood.author I'm looking forward to reading their books soon.

I've soft launched my apothecary business @morrigans_mixtures follow me there if you want to see what I make and the journey to expanding into a future fleet of mobile Apothecary trucks. I designed my labels, printed them, and cut them out. I purchased glass because I wanted the quality to show, be able to reuse or recycle easily, and most essential oils don't sit well in other types of containers. I created the recipes. I made everything from scratch with care and intention. I had a great first craft market and learned a lot. Find out more of my process on that other IG.

If you want to own a business and make it successful. You have to be dedicated to consistency and always strive for making yourself and your business better. You can't take weekends "off" you lose over 20% of your week right there. You have to be obsessed. I study and research all the time. I'm not out drinking or entertaining people. I'm striving for excellence, and that will take execution and time. If I waste time on frivolous activities, I lose precious time I could have put towards my future goals. Pushing that needle forward is the Operator Standard.
This isn't a fast process but I will make it work.

I taught my Tarot and tea class this month and I believe it went really well. We also got a new class on the books this April for late May. Look for our shadow work class starting in May. @thelilithiantherapist

I went back to writing more in my journal and doing some art therapy, drawing in my art journal and crocheting again.
Not that creating an entire line of products for my apothecary wasn't also a creative outlet. Lol 😅

I baked more this month and did way more cooking. Enjoy my animals being cute and silly.

I got to meet @tiffanyrosewood.author at @3sisterscoffeeandtea on April 4th.

This sounds like such a fun and interesting read. I'll be starting it soon.

It's a dark romantasy. It features a villainous female protagonist who rules through fear but finds herself caught between her mortal bodyguard and the immortal king who owns her soul.

I love to be able to come out and meet the author whenever it's possible. I love being able to get my book signed. That's part of the fun in owning books.

Tiffany and I had a really interesting conversation, and I also learned a little about the creation of her book and what motivates her as a writer. What a lovely human.

Please consider supporting her and buying the book. She had a lot of amazing artists do the stunning art prints to go along with the book. Another bonus about visiting the author in person.

Also, if you want amazing coffee, three sisters is the place to go.

Featuring my ball python Houdini in a couple of my photos. Lol
