What can a former TV weatherman teach wedding suppliers? Quite a lot, it turns out! 🌦️⁠

@mikelarkan has been around weddings since he was a teenager playing guitar in a wedding band. After years as a DJ, an MC and presenting the weather on Channel 10, he's now one of Melbourne's best-known celebrants.⁠

A lot has changed at Easy Weddings since 2005.⁠

Monitors got thinner. Phones lost their cords. The internet stopped screeching at us every time we tried to log on. And the baby on Matt Butterworth's lap grew up and joined his father’s business.⁠
⁠
Alec Butterworth has a desk of his own now. As you can see, he doesn't always use it..⁠
⁠
What hasn't changed, though, is how we look after people.⁠
⁠
We started as a family business, and that's still how it feels when you walk in the door. Plenty of the photographers, florists and venues we work with are family run too, so we know what it means to have your name, your time, and sometimes your kids wrapped up in what you do.⁠
