meet Mya! 🐾💕

we adopted Mya a little over a week ago. her last owner had a newborn and could no longer take care of Mya so she went around to different vets to try to get her euthanized. a worker at one of the vets she went to told her she'd help her find a family to take her in. luckily we came across this sweet girl on a website and the rest is history! Mya is the sweetest dog ever. she loves car rides, fans, squeaky balls, cuddling up against my wheelchair, bluey, but above all else, lots of attention! Mya is 9 years old and has severe untreated anxiety but we're working to give her the best quality of life possible during her senior years

we look forward to lots of more side eyes, her jumping into the car backseat even we we're going somewhere we can't take her, and trying to get around her when she stands in the most inconvenient places. we love you Mya! by @fabioladaphne_

earlier this month i was given the opportunity to read my writing at social work's got talent along other powerful and talented artists. this was my first time orally sharing my writing to an audience and it was an amazing experience. my poetry and stories come from a raw personal special place in my heart and i was delighted at the reaction it received

it's official: i’m now an executive producer!! "on the moov: journey to accessibility" will be hitting your screens very soon!

massive thanks to everyone who showed up for our premiere last night. it was a huge milestone for on the moov, and celebrating it with such an amazing community made the moment even better. i'm so grateful to the otm exec, our alumni, advisory committee, volunteers, members, partner organizations, and every supporter who helps push our mission forward. shoutout to the incredible crew for bringing this vision to life and to Esha for matching our passion for this project. thank you to @aapdofficial for believing in our mission and providing the funding to make this possible. finally, a huge thank you to my friends, family, parents, sister, and my fiance for your endless belief in me.

my heart is honestly overflowing with gratitude, lpve, and joy. i'm so excited for the public release of this project, i hope you all love it just as much as we do
