and just like that manifold (deluxe) is a wrap. truly all i have to say is thank you thank you! @noordefa , team @adeyumyum and everyone that worked with and supported me on this, i am so grateful 🫶🏿@selvimayz @friezeofficial for the opportunity and hospitality!everyone that came and posted about it and told a friend and took the time to chat, the support and love and care has been life-affirming tbh. i am in awe of every artist in this show, their minds, their work. idk how to explain how 🆙 it is from here. the privilege to show your work is not taken for granted 🤎 byeeee for now you are relieved of all my manifold posts xxx by @faridahf

Yet The Great Life Continues is open now! until October 18th. i am sooo happy with this show, and to work again with @fade.0707 and @waru_guru , two artists i love so much and who build their worlds so purposefully and diligently. and getting to watch said worlds collide and coalesce has been kind of life-changing! i love the conversation they’re having in the exhibition, because life can be hard but it can also be beautiful and soft and filled with signs of good things to come! i love their rejection of any kind of hierarchy of material; they work with paper and fabric and will not apologise for it! it’s also really wonderful to see so many different ways of manipulating cloth: dye, paint, stitching, embroidering, beading, quilting. the responsibility and care to carry forward age-old techniques, often practiced by women and to keep these methods alive. i feel like encountering this show forces a slowing down. so many details and moments, you have to hang around to catch them all. please come and see it! 🦜
