In a study of 180 brainstormers, MIT Media Lab researchers found that AI assistants invisibly stamp their own values onto the ideas people think they came up with themselves.

Brainstorming your biggest goals with an Al at 2am is cool, but an AI can't give you its brother's phone number in Australia or hand you a real connection 😭

@humanariumco and @juicytimes.nyc are throwing an intimate event in Brooklyn on Aug 10th called Dreams & Obstacles, a collective problem-solving night based on Barbara Sher's iconic formula.

Here's what you do: you stand up, say what you want to achieve, and name whatever is blocking you. then the entire room steps in to pull apart the obstacle, drop introductions, give practical shortcuts, and bounce breakthrough ideas. Sounds interesting?

I started 2025 with a decision:

No plans.
Just presence.

What followed was something I could never have imagined—
a spontaneous trip to Mexico,
ancient pyramids, sacred ceremonies,
a 12-day romantic story,
a new book in the making,
and nights spent deepening friendships one sleepover at a time.

Every part of it was unplanned.
Every part of it was unforgettable.

This wasn’t about being reckless.
It was about becoming receptive.
Letting life lead. Letting love surprise me.
Letting trust be the map.

I don’t think we need to throw away all structure.
But maybe — we could loosen our grip a little.
Make space for something greater to move through us.

✨
If you want to read the first chapter of the book born from this experiment, it’s in my bio.
If you’re looking for your people, we’re gathering in Cosmic Playground.
It’s small. Heart-led. Wonder-fueled.

We don’t have a plan.
We have presence.
Come play. 🌍💫

Alex had dreamed of meeting Jessica Lange for ten years.

At our Brooklyn room in August, he said it out loud, and Sophie @sophiedemorelos gave him a tip: celebrities show up at film festivals.

Then came a screening of her film in New York, with a Q&A after. Alex sat in the first row. When the interviewer asked the audience for questions, he raised his hand and asked her what rituals she keeps before she goes on stage or in front of the camera. She answered for about three minutes. His friend filmed it, and the video has about 40,000 views on his Instagram.

At New York No. 2 in East Harlem, he told the room how it happened. Then he named his next dream: assistant director on Broadway. He moves to New York this winter, and in his words: “Somebody knows people in New York in theater. Please connect me with them.” @alex_chernenko_life

At Dreams & Obstacles @dreamsandobstacles by @juicytimes.nyc created by @fedor.worlds, dreamers say a dream out loud, and name what stands in its way. Then the whole room takes the obstacles apart: introductions, practical solutions, and breakthrough ideas.

The next room is Wednesday, November 18, at El Barrio’s ArtSpace PS109 @elbarriosartspace in East Harlem.

Your next big idea might need a stranger’s advice—or their uncle’s phone number. @dreamsandobstacles, the Brooklyn-born gathering whose viral post sparked hosting interest in 37 cities across 15 countries, makes its South Florida debut this Saturday in Dania Beach. Here’s the setup: Share your dream, explain what’s blocking it and let the room offer connections, resources and practical ideas. Hosted by Gala Parker at @opencreatorstudio, the October 24 session runs from 1 to 4 p.m., with just 10 seats available. Tickets start at $30 for the first six seats, then $40, and the address comes with your ticket. Browardist chatted with creator Fedor Sokolov about how it started, why it caught on and what to bring besides a big ambition. Meet @annae.artist a connection artist who invited the whole NYC to her birthday 🍊

Sometimes our dreams are just one bold action away and one video can turn a lonely birthday into an unforgettable one.

We think Anna’s story is so inspiring because it reminds us that we are built for connection and that joy and courage are infectious.

✨We are planing to co-host and co-create with Anna - comment CONNECTION if you want to hear about our events together first

May all be juicy 🧃

3 ways for artists to make extra money 🍊

financial challenges artists face in NYC and worldwide are real.

artists are essential for humanity’s future.

That’s why I am developing tools to help artists not just survive but thrive: co-hosting events together, offering discounts to your audience for ticket sales, and a new grant for wild event ideas.

I believe that win-win wins and that we are always stronger together and I want to show how it works in practice

Dm me if you want to get in board 🚀

How I came up with Juicy Times Grant for Unique Event Ideas

kindness is infectious.. a $100 grant we got from from @glouberman and @torontoeventgenerator inspired me to create the Juicy Times grant 🍊

I am excited to support people with unusual, weird, or new event ideas who need help starting, finding a venue or a sponsor, marketing or a partner to bring the idea to life

comment your event idea under the grant post I shared earlier to get started 🚀

Your weirdest event idea..
Juicy Times wants to back it 🍊

Absurd. Oddly specific. Gloriously unnecessary. Juicy.

If it’s joyful, unique, intimate, communal or you-focused, it qualifies.

We’ll be picking our favorites and backing them on a rolling basis

To apply:
Comment your event idea + tag your co-host.
Follow us and @fedor.worlds so we can slide into your DMs.

New round every two weeks. First picks October 19 🗓️
