POSTS STORIES REELS

For 60 weeks straight we have held our community together out of pocket and fueled by radical love. We’ve given, served, created, prayed, and cried. Now it’s time to expand. Help us solidify our foundation by sowing into good ground with the Fish & Scripts community.

Every dollar keeps our stove warm and the scripts hot. If you’ve ever been blessed, inspired, or loved by our community please consider sowing seed to a counter cultural space that believes in community over celebrity, family over fame, and art for arts sake. Link in our bio. by @fishandscripts

We realize people may not know exactly what it is we do. But we’re so much more than a weekly script reading series or a fish fry. We are community in action. And we need your help to make our impact even bigger. Sowing into Fish & Scripts is sowing into good ground. Check out these numbers and send this to 5 people! Link to our GoFundMe is in our bio. Have you donated yet?

Starting Saturday, November 7th, 8p-12a — Pull up to @solefolks in Leimert Park for a night of music, community, and unapologetic self-expression. From R&B classics to hip-hop anthems, neo-soul favorites, and the songs we grew up on — we’re singing our stories, celebrating our culture, and creating moments together.

This is more than karaoke. It’s a whole vibe. LIVE MUSICIANS, AUTOTUNE OPTION & BACKGROUNDS SINGERS! A whole lot of SOUL.

Curated by @welovekaraoke.events for @solefolks in partnership with @airbnbexperiences and in collaboration with @fishandscripts

What’s better than theatre? Seeing it with 30 friends. When the tribe show up, we gone have a good time. Always LOVE popping up with the Fish & Scripts family. What’s next? by @fishandscripts

Thank you to the @geffenplayhouse and @gutzgirl for making space for Fish & Scripts at opening night of this amazing, must see show Angry, Raucous, and Shamelessly, Glorious. It’s an incredibly moving show that challenges us, our heroes, and our respectability politics. It’s the type of theatre that should change you. And we had a ball!
