I played on Gary Burton’s vibraphone! 🤯
Couple of weeks ago during a gig with Abby at the Center for Mallet Percussion Research, i play on Gary´s bars. These older Musser bars are amazing. He apparently also never bother to get his whole sets replaced, hence the random gold Yamaha bar, and gold musser bars. Thank you to the Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research for having @fisherlauproject in residency! We had a wonderful time working with the Kutztown University percussion students in a masterclass, performing a concert, and recording.
The center is an incredible gift to the percussion community- highly recommend that you visit!
