I played on Gary Burton’s vibraphone! 🤯 Couple of weeks ago during a gig with Abby at the Center for Mallet Percussion Research, i play on Gary´s bars. These older Musser bars are amazing. He apparently also never bother to get his whole sets replaced, hence the random gold Yamaha bar, and gold musser bars. We recorded music for our next album and you can hear how his bars sound!

🌸 @fisherlauproject performance last week! @matthewlaumusic and I had a blast playing “Run to the Light” by @ivan.drums with the NAU Wind Symphony, along with Ravel’s ‘Alborada del gracioso,’ arranged for two marimbas. Thanks to all of the students and director @stevemeyer_23 ! Up next for FLP: teaching and performing at the Midwest Chamber Percussion Camp at Goshen College in June 🥁
