6 years of you… my one in a million boy

Dinosaurs 🦖 friends, family and a whole lotta laughter. You’re dramatic and full of knowledge. Look like your Dad but act like your Mama. Chocolate 🍫 and bubbles are your favorite treats and you’re just as sweet as they are. Excited to see all you learn this year.

Fall family photos loading…

I met @flamingo.palm for the first time at our photo shoot and can I just say she is such an amazing person. Instantly made everyone in my family feel comfortable and that’s not easy an easy task when taking pictures of my family. There’s always someone commenting on something and she just made everything feel so natural.

Dream job ♥️ 📷

I recently had the opportunity to speak at an 8th grade careers class and their teacher was so kind and thanked me for spending the entire day with them.

But I L.O.V.E. My job and was so happy to give the students a look into entrepreneur life and being a photographer

3 things I expect all seniors to bring

1. A change of clothes - you shouldn’t feel stuck with one look. I encourage you to bring at least one change to mix up you looks.

2. Accessories - a hat, jewelry, something special to you or your instrument or sport gear. Think big or small this gives an element of life now.

3. A hype person - Mom, Dad, siblings, friends. Someone who will stand on the sidelines, hand you things and tell you how lovely you are. Makes for special memories together.

Your photoshoot should feel like you. You want to look back at these and remember how you felt.

Hi, I’m Hannah, mama of 3 and the photographer behind Flamingo + Palm 📸

I’ve been photographing families for 20 years, but maternity and newborn sessions are where my heart lives — there’s nothing like capturing those first tiny toes and squishy cheeks before they change overnight (and trust me, as a mom of three, I know how fast it happens!).

I’m married to my high school sweetheart of 21 years. I’m from Minnesota and still have a few words with an accent, so you might notice those. Boise has been home for a long time. Motherhood was a journey through infertility. Adoption and IVF made my dream of being a Mom and I’m so grateful. I spend a great deal of time volunteering at the school and on the PTO board. It makes me happy to help our school where I can.

Some of my favorite things to do are chasing sunshine with my kids, swimming, having friends over since we’re always up for a bbq or hiking with our dogs.

⚠️Trigger Warning👼🏽Pregnancy+Infancy Loss

This Pregnancy+Infancy Loss Remembrance Day, I honor my angel babies...

We never imaged we would experience the grief of miscarriage. Each loss took a part of me as my greatest wish of motherhood seemed as though it wasn’t meant to be.
•tests, hopes, prayers
•good news to "I'm so sorry"
•cycle repeats
•years pass
•fertility treatments
•hope, then more grief
•ectopic
•failed IVF
•3 more👼🏽👼🏽👼🏽
•adopt daughter
•adopt son
•IVF, fear, worry...
•our son

As a reflect on our path I know it was meant for me. I have a greater appreciation for motherhood as it took a lot of hope, grief, help and prayer to create this beautiful family I have and I am eternally grateful for the love, support and journey to motherhood.

If you are in the thick of it now just know... Grieve each loss, lean on others and be grateful for the support. Your day will come.
