Who said we only celebrate Deaf Awareness Month in September?! 👀🤟🏾
Not over here! We celebrate Deaf culture, Deaf history, Deaf communities, and the importance of accessibility ALL YEAR ROUND! 🤎✨
And because we couldn’t fit all this beautiful melanin into one video, we had to come back with PART TWO! 🫶🏾
Black and Brown interpreters are out here doing the work, breaking barriers, and making an impact every single day. Representation matters, cultural competency matters, and access matters!

A huge thank you to my village for showing up AGAIN and helping me bring this video to life! 💚
And just in case you forgot what we said the first time...

When they tell you they can’t find a Black or Brown interpreter, tell them they didn’t look hard enough! 👏🏾
At Elevated Access Co., we’re committed to creating accessible spaces, amplifying Black and Brown interpreters, and ensuring our communities have access to qualified professionals who understand the importance of cultural representation.
Because accessibility isn’t seasonal. It’s a year-round commitment! 🧡

✨ Taking access to new heights.

Amiraaaaaaaaa!!! 😭💙 My Aquarius twin ♒️ aka @itsmanilow!!
It was truly a pleasure and an honor to share space with you for your private listening party! To hear what you’ve been working on and pouring your heart and soul into for the past 8 months was such a beautiful experience. 🥹
There was SO much love in that room for you, but what stood out to me the most was how freely you poured that same love right back into everyone. The way you spoke life into people on YOUR special day was something truly special to witness. 💙

K(new) Better is a WORK OF ART! 🎶✨ Every lyric, every melody, every emotion. I could FEEL it all. Your voice is so soothing, your storytelling is beautiful, and honestly, I needed this album about 4 years ago! LMAOOO 😭😂
You are so deserving of everything that is coming your way. You’re on your way, and I am SO, SO, SO proud of you! Keep creating, keep pouring into your art, and most importantly, keep being YOU!
The world needs to hear what you have to say. 💙✨ taken in Baltimore, Maryland by @flower_child30

Last night was one for the books! 🖤🌈🤟🏾

Elevated Access Co. had the pleasure of providing ASL interpreting services for the @alllovebaltimore Masc Meet Up!

As a Black lesbian-owned accessibility company, giving back to our community means everything to us. We believe Black LGBTQ+ spaces deserve to be inclusive, accessible, and welcoming to Deaf and Hard of Hearing community members. Accessibility belongs wherever our community gathers, celebrates, connects, and experiences joy. ✨

A huge thank you to @alllovebaltimore and @queenhdthedj for thinking of Elevated Access Co. and making ASL access part of the experience. Thank you to @issaalterego for being such an amazing team🫶🏾

Make sure you check out All Love Baltimore and all the events they have happening this week!

Happy Baltimore Black Pride! 🖤🤎🌈

Taking access to new heights. 🚀🤟🏾

Happy Deaf Awareness Month! 🤟🏾🖤🤎

This month is about celebrating Deaf people, Deaf culture, American Sign Language, and continuing the work toward true accessibility and equitable language access.

Today, we’re also celebrating the Black and Brown ASL interpreters who are an essential part of the communities we serve. Representation matters. Cultural competency matters. And having interpreters who understand the cultures and lived experiences of the people in the room matters.

Thank you to my village for showing up and helping me create this video. 🫶🏾

And when they tell you they “can’t find” a Black or Brown interpreter…

Tell them they didn’t look hard enough. 👏🏾

We’re here. We’re qualified. We’re experienced. And we’re doing the work.

At Elevated Access Co., we provide ASL interpreting and accessibility services for festivals, conferences, organizations, and community events.

Two nights in Philly with @brunomars! 🎶🤟🏾✨
I had the pleasure of interpreting for Bruno Mars’ Romantic Tour in Philadelphia, and what an experience! This was truly one of the best concerts I’ve attended in a while from the production and choreography to the music and energy in the room.

A few of my favorites from the night: 🎤🤟🏾
✨Risk It All
✨Why You Wanna Fight?
✨Cha Cha Cha

Opportunities like this are a reminder of why accessibility in live entertainment matters. Deaf and Hard of Hearing fans deserve access to concerts, festivals, and live events at every level.

That same passion drives the work we do at Elevated Access Co., providing ASL interpreting, event accessibility, accessibility coordination, and consulting for concerts, festivals, conferences, and community events.

✨ Taking access to new heights.

@elevatedaccessco had the opportunity to share our journey with @canvasrebel — and the story behind how Elevated Access Co. came to be. ✨

What started as an idea written on sticky notes around my computer desk has grown into something bigger than I could have imagined: a business centered on accessibility, inclusion, ASL interpreting, and creating more accessible events and experiences.

This conversation was raw, transparent, and truly from the heart. I shared the journey, the lessons, and the vision behind taking access to new heights. 🧡💚

I cried watching this video before I posted it. 🥹❤️

Lynixx, it’s been 11 years of us doing life together, and you are truly my angel. After traveling for days and weeks at a time, I know I can always count on you to be home, smiling and wagging your tail, waiting for me.

You ground me in ways I never thought anything could. Somehow, we understand each other without ever sharing the same language. And of course, we can’t forget one of your greatest talents: keeping suspicious (all) men in check. 😂🐾 Honestly, you’ve always been a girl’s girl.

You’ve been my constant, my protector, my comfort, and one of the greatest loves of my life. I love you today, tomorrow, and forever.

Happy birthday, sweet girl. 🤍🐾🎂✨ by @flower_child30
